Ingolstadt, Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa to the public

(Minghui.org) When Harry, a passerby, saw the Falun Dafa Information Day event in the inner city of Ingolstadt, he stopped and talked with practitioners for a long time. He signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution in China. He stated that the Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance were important, and that faith could guide people to return to the right path.

Falun Gong practitioners held the event to introduce the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance on May 16, 2025. They also condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. The event drew the attention and support of local people.

Ingolstadt is located in Bavaria in southern Germany. It is famous given that it is the headquarters of Audi, a premium German auto maker. It is also the birthplace of the Bavarian Illuminati (1776), the predecessor of the communist party, until the conspiracy of the gang was discovered and banned by the Bavarian government in 1785.

A group of young people wearing Bavarian national clothing passed by the information booth. Out of curiosity, they stopped to talk to the practitioners. One of them wanted to leave and kept interrupting his companions. At this time, one of the young people rebuked him, “I want to hear this lady finish talking to us. What she said is very important.” After listening to the facts, the young man signed the petition without hesitation.

Totalitarianism Without Faith Is Doomed to Fail

Harry, mentioned at the beginning of this article, talked with a Falun Gong practitioner for a long time and signed the petition. He said that he signed it because he learned the truth after talking with Falun Gong practitioners. He believed that totalitarianism without faith is doomed to fail, and faith can guide people to the right path.

“When a regime relies on only one ideology and becomes purely materialistic, problems arise,” Harry said, and added that he had experienced this himself. Decades ago, he was active in left-wing activities and admired Maoism. Later, after he learned about the terrible atrocities that happened during the Cultural Revolution in China, he began to reflect on the harm of having no faith. Harry said that the same terrible atrocities have occurred in China today, so he wanted to sign the petition to stop it.

Harry had encountered many activities held by Falun Gong practitioners in major cities in Germany for the past 20 years that raise awareness of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Today, he encountered a Falun Gong practitioners’ information day activity again. “I immediately realized that this is related to this same matter. I hope that the Chinese people and all materialists can return to spirituality, and get rid of pure materialism,” Harry said.
