Berlin: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Gain Recognition from the Public as People Praise World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Germany held large-scale events in Berlin on May 9 and 10, 2025, to celebrate the 26^th World Falun Dafa Day, also their Master’s birthday.

Several groups made up of practitioners, including the European Tian Guo Marching Band, the Dragon Dance troupe from Poland, and the Waist Drum troupe from Germany, performed during the events. Practitioners also demonstrated Falun Dafa’s five sets of exercises, attracting attention and praise.

“This is great! It is really wonderful and peaceful, making people feel at ease, humanized, and close to our hearts,” said Mr. Nico, when he happened upon the parade organized by the Falun Dafa practitioners to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.

Financial Director: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are the Core of Humankind. They Are Super Wonderful

Mr. Nico, who was mentioned earlier in this article, is the financial director of Berlin’s largest shopping mall. He was out running to exercise when he happened to see the Falun Dafa practitioners’ parade. He stopped and accepted the materials that a practitioner handed to him, and he started to watch and enjoy the parade with full attention.

Financial director, Mr. Nico, felt that the Falun Dafa practitioners’ parade is amiable and comforting to people’s hearts.

He said that he could feel that the practitioners were emitting energy. “That’s right, especially from the sound of the drums and the wonderful rhythm, I can feel it [the energy]. The sounds of the drums are not exaggerated, and they are comforting to people’s hearts,” he said.

When he learned that Falun Dafa cultivation is based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Mr. Nico said, “No doubt, these values definitely have their logic. They are the core of humankind, and they are super wonderful. Furthermore, they are also values that humankind depends on for survival, so they are very good values.”

When Mr. Nico learned that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, not allowing people to cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, he said, “This is too frightening. I grew up in Germany, where there is freedom and freedom of speech. Everyone should practice what they want to practice, and they should all have their own space. If you do not like it, you can go. To me, the only thing that is forever important is not to force anybody to do something. We definitely cannot persecute and definitely force things on people.”

Mr. Nico said that it was a good thing that Falun Dafa practitioners were holding a parade to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. “In Berlin, in Germany, it is also a good thing that the practitioners can go onto the streets to spread this information. If practitioners have different values and inner feelings and make people happy, then live out the life you all want,” he said.

Project Manager: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are Very Good Beliefs for Humankind

Mr. Kai S. is an electrical engineer and project manager. Before the parade, he watched the waist drum troupe rehearse for a long time. He then followed the Falun Dafa practitioners’ parade from the streets of Kurfürstendamm all the way to their turning point, taking videos all the time.

He said that the scenes of the Falun Dafa practitioners were very beautiful, making him stop in his tracks. “The reason why I lingered around is that I feel that this is really great. The scenes are wonderful, the colors are brilliant, and the music is moving. I like them very much, and they can attract people’s attention,” he said.

“All in all, it leaves people with the impression of peace. In the past, I have never seen this before. This is the reason why I stopped by and lingered around here,” Mr. Kai said.

When he learned that Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate themselves based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Mr. Kai said, “These are very good beliefs for humankind. I feel that they are very good and I should support them.”

Engineer: Everyone in the Parade is Smiling and Is Friendly

Mr. Heiko A. is an engineer. He said the Falun Dafa practitioners’ parade to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day was rippling with a very traditional, friendly ambiance and was very peaceful. “Everyone’s face looks friendly, and everyone is laughing. They are all very happy,” he said.

Mr. Heiko said that he fully agrees with the principles that Falun Dafa practitioners abide by in their cultivation, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and if the whole world followed these principles, the world would change. “These are important for the peaceful coexistence of all people,” he said.

Mr. Heiko also agreed with Falun Dafa practitioners, including information that exposes the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa in their event. “The message must be conveyed, and we need to let everyone know about it. Too few people in the Western countries know about this,” he said.

He encouraged Falun Dafa practitioners to continue their efforts and let everyone know the truth.

World Falun Dafa Day Is Worth Celebrating

Barbara Kowalska and her friend both brought their daughters to watch the Falun Dafa practitioners’ rally. “We have just arrived. This event is colorful, super friendly, and has a great vibe,” she said.

Because they brought their daughters with them, both ladies were very particular about whether the event would be suitable for children. “No doubt that the event is very peaceful. In comparison to other political protest activities, this event does not make people feel like they want to escape from here with their child. It is a totally different ambiance, not the normal ones that we see in Berlin,” Ms. Kowalska said.

Ms. Kowalska said that Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are “super wonderful,” and she wants to research the practice further when she returns home. When she learned that the Falun Dafa practitioners are celebrating World Falun Dafa Day, Ms. Kowalska said, “This is a very good matter that is worth celebrating. It indeed is very friendly.”

Both of their daughters were very happy to receive small lotus flower keepsakes that carry the words “Falun Dafa is good!” Kowalska’s friend’s daughter even clung onto a Falun Dafa practitioner’s leg, reluctant to let go. She stared at the practitioner with her bright eyes and kept thanking the practitioner happily.

“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are What I Love”

A passerby is very happy to learn about Falun Dafa.

Librarian Christoph Jürgen said that he often sees Falun Dafa practitioners’ information day events in different parts of Berlin. “Not only did I see them here, I see them in different areas of the whole Berlin from time to time too, but they are all relatively small scale, not like the one here,” he said.

“I am surprised. I feel that Falun Dafa is more like a meditation group and the music makes people excited,” he said.

Mr. Jürgen said that when he learned that this event was held by Falun Dafa practitioners from Germany and other European countries, who have gathered together to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, he said, “Oh, this is a special occasion.” He felt that the whole event was “very peaceful.”

Mr. Jürgen said that he is clear that Falun Dafa practitioners are cultivating based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “This is a very important matter that is very wonderful, so it can easily reach a consensus with everyone,” he said.

Kerstin Biller saw the Falun Dafa practitioners’ parade and kept giving thumbs up and blowing kisses to the practitioners. She felt that this parade was very peaceful, exceptionally good, and made people feel that they were full of energy and joy. “Yes, that’s right, it is really like that. I like this way as it makes me feel very happy,” she said.

Ms. Biller also said that she likes the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “People must treat others with kindness. I like these things. These are what I love,” she said.
