Minnesota, USA: Mayor of City of Saint Paul Issues Proclamation to Mark World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) Mayor Melvin Carter of the City of Saint Paul issued a proclamation to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and mark the 33^rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction.

The proclamation reads,

“WHEREAS, Falun Dafa is a spiritual practice rooted in Buddhist tradition offering self-improvement through the study and discipline of teachings, and gentle exercise and meditation; and

“WHEREAS, the practice was first introduced in May of 1992, and has supported countless individuals around the world in their pursuit of improving their health and wellness; and

“WHEREAS, Falun Dafa is now practiced freely in over 100 countries by people from all walks of life; and

“WHEREAS, supporting the health and wellness of our community is vital in building a city where everyone feels welcome, safe, and included; and

“WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul in Minnesota recognizes Falun Dafa practitioners from around the world as they commemorate World Falun Dafa Day on May 13.

“Now, Therefore, I, Melvin Carter, Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, May 13, 2025, to be: Falun Dafa Day in the City of Saint Paul.”
