Some Experiences of Looking Inward While Saving People

(Minghui.org) The company I worked for laid-off people due to the economic downturn. I was one of them, and the notice hit me hard because I wasn’t expecting it. I was upset for a long time after being laid-off, and a big sore grew on my nose, which oozed yellowish fluid.

Looking Inward for Answers

I had more time on my hands after being laid off, so I tried hard to calm my mind to study the Fa and do the exercises more. Gradually, the reasons for my incorrect state started surfacing. I became alert to the various manifestations of my human notions, which included jealousy.

I also found that I complained in my mind because the management didn’t inform me in advance of the layoffs. I thought I was a reasonable person and would have accepted that we were in an economic downturn and resigned on my own. I felt I could talk to the employer about anything, but the employer told me about the layoff at the last minute, even though they knew it was coming long ago. I felt I was unfairly treated. This was a jealous mentality! The thought was also mixed with other attachments, such as showing off my generosity and not letting go of losing face.

I also had lust, as I couldn’t let go of my attraction to a male colleague I got along well with. This was an attachment to affection that a cultivator should not have.

After being laid off, I thought about finding another part-time job to supplement the part-time job I previously had, to earn two salaries as I used to. I then realized this thought was a manifestation of my being trapped in personal interest without knowing it!

I was shocked to find all these attachments. Jealousy, especially, was the root cause of my incorrect state.

I pressed my palms together in front of my chest and bowed to Master Li’s portrait. I thanked him for giving me a wake-up call and helping me find my long-hidden attachments. My mind cleared up, and those mentalities of resentment that were rooted in jealousy, showing-off, personal interest, and affection all dissolved immediately. After my mind cleared up, the sore on my nose also started healing. It healed completely within a few days.

My Former Teacher Quits the CCP

I decided to go back to school to improve my language skills. On my first day, I met my former teacher, and she told me she was leaving the school in a few days. Being able to see her after so many years, I believed, was Master’s arrangement. She must have been a predestined person to be saved.

I talked to her about Falun Dafa and the persecution, as well as quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations to ensure a safe future. She listened attentively, and in the end agreed to quit the CCP. She chose a bright future for herself. I told her to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” as it would bring her blessings. She thanked me. I told her that Dafa’s Master is saving lives, and she should thank him instead.

For an unexpected reason, I had to go home not too long after I started learning in the school. While subleasing my dormitory to my language teacher, I told him the truth about Dafa, as well as the warnings of various prophecies, and he agreed to quit the CCP.

He was in the process of applying for a visa to travel overseas when I talked to him. He told me that his application had some difficulties. After he came to understand the truth and chose to quit the CCP, his application process seemed to go smoother. He got one document issued in the second week and the rest of the documents issued within three weeks, and he was able to travel without delay.

My Classmate Quits the CCP

After I got home, I was contacted by a former classmate who invited me to join a holiday gathering. I thought this must be an opportunity that Master arranged for me. I bought gifts and set off early in the morning. I remembered a hint Master gave me in a dream, “Leave no one behind.” I knew it was my mission to save lives, and I must do it well no matter what.

When we met, I felt very close to her, although we had not seen one another for years. She entertained us, and we went to various tourist attractions. When taking rests, I talked to her about Falun Dafa and advised her and her daughter to quit the CCP. They agreed. Since time was limited, I left her some truth-clarifying materials and asked her to read them later.

Thank you, Master, for giving me the opportunity to correct myself when I made mistakes and for arranging opportunities for me to assist in saving lives! I will live up to your compassionate salvation, continue to do the three things well, and return to my original home!
