(Minghui.org) For a long time, the Minghui Editorial Board has received questions from practitioners in mainland China (and sometimes overseas) about articles by Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) and Falun Dafa books. These questions relate to possible typographical errors, content, specific topics written in Dafa books, use of certain Chinese characters, and so on. As providing individual responses has become unsustainable over the years, below is a summary reply to these questions:
1) The publication of each article is personally confirmed by Master Li. Occasionally revisions are made, typically on the same day or within three days, before the Minghui Editorial Board provides printable PDF files for mainland China.
2) Compiling and publishing Dafa books is not within the Minghui Editorial Board’s scope of work. In the first ten years after the persecution started in 1999, some practitioners on the Board did participate in the compilation and publication of Dafa books to help counter the persecution and support other practitioners’ cultivation practice, but they did so on an individual basis only. Therefore, practitioners who have questions about content and word choice in Dafa books should contact the books’ publishers directly.
The compilation of Dafa books is not a responsibility that all practitioners share. If a question does not affect one’s understanding of the content of Master Li’s articles and Dafa books, we suggest that practitioners put their hearts into studying the Fa well. This way, one would be free of unnecessary intentions and avoid placing unrealistic expectations on the Minghui Editorial Board’s limited manpower and time.
