(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event on a busy street in the center of Brussels, Belgium on March 22, 2025, to tell people about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Dafa. Practitioners displayed informational boards which introduced Falun Dafa’s core values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. They also demonstrated the exercises, distributed flyers, and described the brutal persecution practitioners suffer in China. Many people signed the petition to support ending the 25-year long persecution.

Human Rights Advocate Supports Falun Dafa
Francois said that, as a defender of human rights, he would continue to pay attention to issues related to Falun Dafa.
Francois from the World Organization Against Torture had an in-depth exchange with Falun Dafa practitioners. He said this was the first time he's heard of the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He said the CCP’s brutal suppression of Falun Dafa practitioners, especially the forced organ harvesting, is unacceptable: “No matter what the reason, this behavior is a serious violation of human rights.”
Francois agrees with Falun Dafa’s principles and believes that if everyone followed Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, the world would be harmonious and beautiful. He emphasized that it’s important to treat people sincerely.
He also mentioned that although there’s negative information about Falun Dafa on the Internet, he realized it was just the CCP’s propaganda. People should pay attention to practitioners’ personal experiences. He said he would continue paying attention to Falun Dafa.

Italian scholar Greta and her friend Giulia also talked with practitioners. Greta excitedly said, “When I was studying for my master’s degree, I wrote a paper on the situation of Falun Dafa in China, including the persecution of practitioners and the situation in labor camps. I’ve done a lot of research and I know the truth.”
She said that, through studying individual cases, she learned about practitioners’ experiences in Chinese labor camps, which gave her a deeper understanding of China’s human rights situation. Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are universal values. She understands their spiritual connotation and is disturbed by the CCP’s long-term suppression of freedom of belief.
Although her friend Giulia didn’t know much about Falun Dafa, she said this was a good opportunity to learn. She took the contact information for the local practice site and said she was interested in learning more.
Learning About Falun Dafa

Yahya Malmi from Morocco heard about Falun Dafa three years ago and learned more about the CCP’s persecution through the Internet. He said, “It’s really sad that the CCP is unwilling to accept many things that are beneficial to people.”
He said he highly agrees with Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and bought a copy of Falun Dafa’s main book, Zhuan Falun, “These values are universal. Regardless of one’s beliefs, tolerance, kindness, and integrity are the most important.” He’s interested in Falun Dafa and hopes to learn more by reading Zhuan Falun. He’s also considering going to the local practice site.
Alain Pochour
Alain Pochour from France has lived in Brussels for many years, and traveled to many countries where he’s seen practitioners do the exercises, but he never talked to them. This time, he stopped to listen to a practitioner’s introduction and was deeply moved.
Alain said, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are universal values. True practice makes people kinder and more tolerant. If more people in the world followed Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, society would be stable.
“I can’t imagine that in modern society, people will be arrested, detained, and even tortured and suffer forced organ harvesting just because they believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.” He called on the international community to pay attention to this human rights crisis and said he would tell his friends, hoping that everyone would work together to stop this persecution.
Public Signs the Petition Calling to End the Persecution

Owen from the UK signed the petition without hesitation after talking to practitioner. He said this was the first time he's heard of Falun Dafa and the persecution. “This kind of activity is very important because many people have no idea what’s going on.”
He was shocked and angry when he learned of the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, “It’s totally unacceptable to be imprisoned and tortured just because of one’s belief. Organ harvesting is even more horrifying.” He hoped to help stop the persecution by signing the petition.
A practitioner told him that, even as the CCP’s persecution has gone on for more than 20 years, practitioners have always peacefully raised awareness, hoping to awaken people’s conscience. They call on the international community to take action to stop the persecution and ensure that freedom of belief is truly guaranteed.
At the end of the event, some passersby were still talking to practitioners, asking for more information and expressing their support for Falun Dafa. Practitioners said that more people are learning about the persecution and are willing to sign petitions to show their support for justice and human rights.
