Fear Not and Save Sentient Beings

(Minghui.org) My health and mental state improved significantly after I started to practice Falun Dafa. Although my family has not yet taken up Dafa cultivation, they have benefited a lot. Our whole family is infinitely grateful for Master’s life-saving grace. I’d like to tell you about myself and my two granddaughters.

Fortunate to Obtain Dafa

I am a 74-year-old woman who lives in the country. Before practicing Falun Dafa, I suffered from a variety of serious ailments for a long time: cerebral thrombosis, ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure, bouts of unconsciousness, a herniated disc, and compressed nerves. Tormented by these health issues for so many years made living seem worse than death and put a real financial drain on our already poor family.

In the early winter of 2003, I was lucky enough to obtain Falun Dafa. When I first read Zhuan Falun, I saw Master’s photo and thought he seemed very kind and familiar, but I couldn’t remember where I had seen him before. For some reason, my tears just kept falling. I realized that Zhuan Falun was amazingly powerful and I was profoundly drawn to it. I could not put it down until I finished reading it. What amazed me was that, even though I had just read the book and had not yet started practicing, after a few days, the health problems that had tortured me for many years were miraculously cured. I was excited beyond words and couldn’t hold back my tears, tears of gratitude for Master! It was our merciful Master who saved my life. I realized that Dafa was by no means an ordinary qigong, that it was incomparably precious. I firmly thought, “I will definitely follow Master to practice Dafa to the end!”

In the days that followed, I started to fulfill my vow in practice.

Fear Not and Save All Sentient Beings

When I first obtained the Fa, the persecution was very severe, but my heartfelt belief in the Fa was a solid as a rock. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had mobilized all the state’s propaganda machines to create an overwhelming amount of false propaganda to slander Dafa. I was sober-minded, and I did not listen to or believe it. I did not waver about cultivating Dafa! Later, because I clarified the truth and did not give up my belief in Dafa, I was arrested and illegally detained in police stations, detention centers, brainwashing centers, and forced labor camps. They used all kinds of ways to coerce and torture me, but it did not shake my firm belief in Master and the Fa in the slightest.

As I continued to study the Fa and understand the principles, I realized that Dafa disciples came to this human world to cultivate, not only for personal improvement and perfection, but also to shoulder the greater mission of saving sentient beings. Like those who had obtained the Fa earlier, while studying the Fa and cultivating myself, I started clarifying the truth and saving others. In the process, I felt that Master was always by my side taking care of me, I had no fear. No matter who I talked to, I was always honest. I was not afraid of being arrested. I escaped many tribulations under Master’s protection, so that those who had wanted to persecute me could not succeed.

Once, when I was telling people the facts about Dafa in a neighboring village, a woman came over to me and said, “That person over there is the director of our village committee. He is a very bad person and is calling 110 to report you!” I said, “I haven’t done anything bad, I’ve not broken the law, I’m not afraid. He won’t be able to get through.” As I was speaking, the man came over and snarled at me, “If you dare to come to this village again and talk about Falun Gong, I will call 110 and have you arrested.”

I replied, “110 responders are not your family, and your words don’t count! If they understand the truth, they will not come, and if they have not understood the truth, I will tell them the truth so that they can save their lives when the catastrophe comes. It is bad for you if you report me. I hope you will not do this bad thing that harms others and yourself in the future!” In fact, no one from 110 ever came. After a while, the man got bored and walked away without a word.

Another time, I was on the bus and was raising my voice to explain the facts to the passengers when one of them said to me in a loud voice, “You are so bold that you dare to propagate Falun Gong in public. Are you not afraid that I will arrest you?” I was unmoved and said to him calmly, “I am risking my life for the sake of your life, and I don’t want a penny. It’s all for your own good. How many people are like Falun Gong practitioners who are considerate of others? I didn’t break the law, so why do you want to arrest me?”

I ignored him and continued to talk to the other passengers. Everyone on the bus listened quietly, and that man didn’t say anymore. When I go to my station and was about to get off the bus, a few people smiled and waved goodbye. Someone asked me, “You didn’t have time to help us to quit the Party, so what should we do?” I said, “As long as you truly believe that Dafa is good and sincerely want to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, you will definitely have a chance.”

Another time when I was telling the conductor on the bus the facts about Dafa, a man took out his mobile phone, glared at me, and said, “How you dare talk about Falun Gong on the bus! I work for the police department. I am going home and am off duty, but I will call the police to arrest you.” I first thought, “Let his mobile phone not work! He cannot commit crimes against Dafa.” I then said to him calmly, “Sir, I am really doing this for your own good. Other people’s lives are valuable. Isn’t your life valuable? The catastrophe is going to eliminate people. Do you think you won’t be among them? Whether you are a police officer or a powerful high-ranking official, gods treat lives equally. Only when you understand the truth, know that Falun Dafa is good, and quit the CCP organizations can you be protected by gods and can your life be truly saved when disaster comes.”

At this time, several people shouted at him, “If you don’t want to listen to her, so be it. We all want to hear what she has to say.” At that, the man’s attitude was not so arrogant. He said to me with some lack of confidence, “In the future, you should pay attention. You can practice at home. Don’t talk casually whatever the occasion.” I said, “If I didn’t speak here today, would you have had the chance to hear me? Can I go to the police department and tell you the facts? Today you are blessed to hear the truth. You really have to thank Master Li. It is his immeasurable compassion and his cherishing all life so that Dafa disciples can clarify the truth and save people. There are not many opportunities to hear the truth, so we must cherish it! You work in the police department. I hope you will definitely not get involved in the persecution of Dafa practitioners. If you treat Dafa with kindness, gods will bless you! Choose a bright future for yourself and your family.” The man listened and didn’t say a word. Maybe he heard what I said and wouldn’t do any more stupid things like reporting Dafa practitioners, because he was also a life that came with the hope of being saved by Dafa.

Over the years, I have encountered a lot as I have clarified the truth. I always have a compassionate heart for the salvation of all sentient beings. Seemingly dangerous things have ultimately been resolved by Master. Thank you, Master!

My Two Granddaughters

Besides me, there are five people in my family: my husband, my son, my daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. Although none of them are cultivators yet, they all believe in Dafa, they all support my cultivation, and they often help me go out to clarify the truth and hang banners. Therefore, they have also received blessings from Dafa. They are all physically and mentally healthy, comfortable, and happy. It is a warm and harmonious family.

I raised my eldest granddaughter, who is 17 this year, from the time she was a child. She believes in Dafa very much. She only likes to listen to music composed by Dafa practitioners and no other songs. She helped me tell the people the facts when she was in kindergarten. She once saw an elderly man with polio on his way to the hospital to get medicine, so she said to him, “My grandmother said that if you recite ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ you will be cured.” When she was in junior high school, she broke her foot. She quickly recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and after only a few moments, her foot returned to normal. When she came home, she said to me excitedly, “Grandma, Dafa is so good!” Another time, as soon as she got on the school bus, she had a headache and nausea. Instead of being afraid, she concentrated on reciting the auspicious phrases and kept reciting them for over 20 miles. By the time she got home, all her symptoms had disappeared. There are many more such examples, so I won’t say more.

Because my granddaughter believes in Dafa very much, Master gave her wisdom. For the past two years, her grades have only gone up. She ranked below 20^th place in her class on the high school entrance exam. In her third year of high school, she was in first place. On this year’s college entrance mock exam, she scored around 200 out of more than 6,000 students in the city. Her teachers and other students’ parents all praised her. My granddaughter knew that Master and Dafa were responsible for her achievements, and she knew to be grateful.

My younger granddaughter, who is 12 this year, also grew up with me. When she was eight months old, my daughter-in-law went back to work. I always held my granddaughter when I studied the Fa. She was able to speak when she was about a year old. One day when I went out, she stayed with her grandfather so she could take a nap. She tossed and turned and just couldn’t sleep. She was very irritable, and asked her grandfather to recite Master’s poems from Hong Yin to her. Her grandfather said, “I can’t.” Surprisingly, she recited more than 20 poems in a row by herself. Her grandfather was shocked and said, “Such a small baby memorized so much Fa! If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it. Dafa is really amazing!”

One time when I was studying the Fa, my younger granddaughter suddenly said to me, “Grandma, when you go to study the Fa with the group, don’t you all read the Fa one by one?” I said, “Yes, we do.” She said, “Then the two of us can also study the Fa that way, right?” I quickly agreed. She immediately sat up, put on her clothes, and respectfully held the Dafa book in her hands. We began to read the Fa together. After reading a few paragraphs, she suddenly stopped, looked at me, and said seriously, Grandma, how can Master speak so well? Can Master also be my Master? I said, “Master will take care of whoever studies the Fa and cultivates. If you study the Fa, Master will also take care of you, and Master will also be your master.” When my little granddaughter heard this, her face was so happy. She loved studying the Fa even more.

During the pandemic last year, my younger granddaughter suddenly had a high fever and her face was burning red. She didn’t ask her mother to be with her. After her mother left, she told me to close the door and she shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” She also asked me to recite Master’s Hong Yin to her. I recited a few poems, and she fell asleep peacefully. When she woke up, she no longer had a fever, and her body was normal. She said to me happily, “Grandma, why do I feel so comfortable? I have never felt so comfortable.” While she was sleeping, my daughter-in-law had a very clear dream. In the dream, she saw Master blow a breath of fairy qi on my granddaughter. That’s why she woke up and felt so comfortable. When my granddaughter heard this, she jumped up and down with joy and said, “How blessed I am! I have Master, too! I’m also going to cultivate Dafa well!”

Epilogue

Over the past 20 years of cultivation, I have walked an unusual path of life. Our whole family has witnessed with our own eyes Master’s compassion and the beauty and sacredness of Dafa, but we cannot express it all in human words. Without Master’s teachings and salvation, there would be no place for our family today. All sentient beings would not be where they are today. Facing compassionate Master and the great Dafa, people can only be humble and respectful, or they will ruin their futures.

People, if you still don’t know about Master Li and Dafa, or are still participating in the persecution of Dafa practitioners, hurry up and wake up. Gods have not given you many opportunities where you can choose to save your life. If you lose the opportunity, it will be too late! At this moment, the heavenly law is evaluating all lives. It is your choice to stay or be eliminated, so let’s choose wisely.
