My Thoughts After Reading a Recent Minghui Notice

(Minghui.org) I was surprised and sad after reading the most recent “Notice” on Minghui.org. It seems the person mentioned in the article allowed himself to be swayed by his ego and wanted others to admire him.

His behavior was irrational, and he did not act like a Falun Dafa practitioner. He sought people’s admiration through deceptive means. Those who looked up to him should examine themselves and think about why they blindly admired him.

Master said,

“Some students really haven’t regarded studying the Fa as something important, and often look at situations that arise among Dafa students with an ordinary human mindset; and it’s not limited to blindly admiring certain people. The display of this human mindset truly, in fact, bespeaks of the [difference between] a cultivator and an ordinary person.” (“Shed the Human Mindset,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)

In China, there’s no freedom to speak one’s mind or have a spiritual belief. Because I live in China, I’m amazed that practitioners outside China are able to clarify the truth so openly. I feel they should treasure their environment.

Practicing Falun Dafa and reading the Fa (teachings) helps us understand the purpose of being human. Dafa saved us when we drifted along with the downward spiral of this chaotic world. What have we done to be arrogant about?

We are Falun Dafa practitioners, and we are cultivators. Master asked us to focus on doing the three things and help him save people. Master and Dafa gave us everything. We have nothing to be proud or arrogant about, and we aren’t here to idolize or admire others.

We should focus on the overall situation, and use our rationality and common sense while fulfilling our responsibilities so we can improve together. Only in this way can we live up to our vows and be worthy of Master’s benevolent salvation.

This is my understanding at my current cultivation level.
