(Minghui.org) I was listening to Master’s lecture recordings one day when I heard a voice say, “The kitchen is on fire, quickly go put out the fire!” I thought, “I have not started any fire to cook, so there is no fire source in the house. How could there be a fire?” I thought that it was just interference, so I said, “I won’t allow you to disturb my Fa study!” and I continued listening to the Fa. Just then, the voice said hastily, “The kitchen is on fire, why don’t you hurry and put out the fire?” This time, I heard it very clearly–that was Master’s voice!
I put down the audio player and rushed into the kitchen. There was thick smoke in the kitchen and the paint on the walls was already curling due to the heat from the fire. The fire was getting bigger. I shouted, “Master, we need to put out the fire and save the entire building’s people!”
As I shouted, I took a plastic basin, which was about the size of a big bowl, and started scooping water out of the water tank to splash on the wall. Miraculously, I only splashed three small basins of water and the big fire was extinguished. There was also not much water on the floor, so the floor was not really wet. I was very emotional and kowtowed to Master, “Thank you, Master! Master, you are too great!”
I was puzzled about how the fire could have started. I later found out that this house was an old building and several households shared one smoke vent. The previous owner had blocked off an out-of-use smoke vent with paper boards and had installed a wall cabinet to block the smoke vent.
I live on the second floor, and below my house is a shop that sells side dishes. Every day, the shop fries, stir-fries, and deep-fries food, expelling the smoke from the exhaust vent. After a long time, the flue for my house was full of oily smoke stains, which posed a great, hidden hazard.
The shop downstairs had been cooking that day and sparks had gushed to the second floor through the exhaust vent, igniting the oily stains and causing the paper boards to start burning. The fire then spread to the wall cabinet and the paint on the walls also started to burn.
After Master helped me put out the fire, I heard someone in the corridor shout, “Whose house is on fire?” I opened my door and said, “My house was on fire!” Everyone rushed into my kitchen to see what had happened. Someone asked, “We did not see water everywhere. How did you put out such a big fire!” I replied, “I cultivate Falun Gong. I begged Master to help me, because I had to save people, everyone in the whole building! I then splashed three small basins of water and the fire was extinguished.” I even showed the small plastic basin to the crowd.
Hearing what I said, everyone was amazed and started talking with one another. Someone said, “You extinguished the fire without wetting the floor. If we were to wait for the firefighters, our entire building and the shed would have burned down, and the water would have completely destroyed everything else!” Another said, “We must really thank your Master! Your Master is really a Buddha! Please help us do a few more kowtows to your Master!”
There was also another neighbor who said, “You sweep our corridors clean every day. Why are you such a good person? Your Master is really great! You can live here peacefully and we will protect you. No one will report you.” No words can describe their excitement and gratitude toward Master.
Not long after this incident occurred, I was on my way home after clarifying the truth one day, when I passed by the community basketball court. I saw about ten boys forming a circle with their arms on each others’ shoulders, shouting repeatedly, “Long live Falun Gong!” One of the boys said, “It was an older lady in that building who practices Falun Gong and begged her Master to save their lives; that saved the lives of all the people in the building! She was the one who put out the fire. Their Master is a Buddha! In the future, you all must take a good look at the small pamphlets that they distribute. Those are life-saving!” Hearing that, I was touched to tears.
People are spreading Falun Dafa through word-of-mouth and from their hearts. People who understand the truth all know Dafa is good and Master is great!
I kowtow to Master!
