(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 33 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yan and Li Ning Arrested
1. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Fengxia Faces Trial
Ms. Chen Fengxia was indicated by the Shuangqiao District Procuratorate on October 22, 2025. When her attorney called the Shuangqiao District Court on November 10, he was told to call back days later. He called again on November 10 and was told that her case had been transferred to the Gaoxin District Court.
2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiuqin’s Trial Scheduled
Ms. Li Xiuqin was scheduled to appear in Ganjingzi District Court on November 13, 2025. Judge Lu Dandan didn’t allow her son, who was representing her as a non-lawyer defender, to review her case document. Lu also attempted to force Ms. Li to use a court-appointed lawyer and threatened her son that he may lose his job if he insists on defending his mother.
3. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced
Among the more than ten practitioners who were arrested by the police and 610 Office agents on the morning of September 20, 2024, five have been sentenced to prison.
Deng Huanping, gender unknown, was sentenced to two years and four months in prison, with three years of probation; Ms. Zhang Qiuyu was sentenced to one year and nine months, with a two-year probation; Ms. Zhou Jiuju was sentenced to 19 months, with a two-year probation; Ms. Ding Shulan was sentenced to nine months in prison and a one-year probation; and Ms. Yang Yueyun was given 6 months and a one-year probation. All of them were fined between 2,000 to 4,000 yuan.
4. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Zhongli Abused in Detention Center
Ms. Chen Zhongli was formally arrested by Pingcheng District Procuratorate on September 23, 2025. The police threatened to arrest her family members if she did not admit guilt. The detention center guards instructed inmates to beat and verbally abuse her.
5. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Fenghui Detained for Sharing Falun Gong Information
Ms. Li Fenghui of Lianhua Township is under criminal detention for sharing Falun Gong information using her cell phone, although she doesn’t practicing Falun Gong.
6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Many Practitioners Harassed
Many practitioners in Laishui County were harassed by Shiting Police Station officers in late October 2025. The officers photographed and videotaped the practitioners and collected their personal information.
The harassed practitioners include Guo Wenqin, Qin Xiuyun, Zhang Yingxia, Zhang Shuqin, Dong Yanjun, Yan Hequan, Yan Jun, Zhang Fengzhi, Niu Xiuzhen, Zhang Fengxia, Zhang Shuqin, Wang Dingqiong, Song Xiangrui, Tang Fenghua, Liang Jianzhong, Guo Shuping, Yu Zhengang, Wang Xiuzhi, Jin Wanjiu, Niu Chunqi, and Fang Yonglian.
7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Chengmei Released After Serving 18 Months
Ms. Wang Chenmei was released from Yaojia Detention Center on November 9, 2025 after she completed serving an 18-month prison term.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yan and Li Ning Arrested
Ms. Liu Yan was arrested by several officers when she stepped out of her condo building on the morning of November 8, 2025. The officers took pictures of her Falun Gong desk calendars, forcibly took her home, ransacked the place, and seized all of her Falun Gong books. Another practitioner, Li Ning, gender unknown, who happened to be visiting her, was also arrested. Both were released around 11 p.m. that day.
