(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Meng Zhaofu Detained
2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Yumei Detained
3. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Yujie Detained
5. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Yin Qun Detained
1. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Meng Zhaofu Detained
Mr. Meng Zhaofu, 71, was recorded by a surveillance camera while putting up stickers with information about Falun Gong. He was arrested at home by Qingdao Road Police Station officers at around 10 a.m. on October 2, 2025. His home was ransacked. The police confiscated all of his Falun Gong books, computer, and printer. He is currently detained in the Laixi City Detention Center.
2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Yumei Detained
Ms. Han Yumei was reported to police for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong and was arrested at home on the morning of October 12, 2025. She is being detained in the Badao Police Station.
3. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
Several officers, led by Ding Aimin, head of the Chibi City Domestic Security Division, went to Ms. Wu Hanxiang’s home on October 7, 2025. They left after finding that Ms. Wu was not at home.
The officers went to the home of Mr. Shi Kai and his wife Ms. Ruan Fang at noon on October 9, 2025. They confiscated all of their Falun Gong books.
Ms. Cheng Chunjiao was harassed at home by Jiyuqiao Police Station officers and Jiyuqiao Community Director Qian on October 9, 2025. Four Falun Gong books were confiscated.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Yujie Detained
Ms. Han Yujie was arrested on July 10, 2025 and has been detained in the Weizigou Detention Center. Her family has not been allowed to visit her.
5. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Yin Qun Detained
Yin Qun, gender unknown, was arrested on June 5, 2025 and detained for 10 days. Yin was released on bail after paying a 40,000-yuan bond.
