(Minghui.org) A touring information day event arrived in Alphen aan den rijn, a town in southern Netherlands, on October 11, 2025, to tell people about Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
Alphen aan den rijn is a municipality in the province of Zuid Holland with approximately 120,000 residents. Practitioners set up truth-clarification display boards on Julianastraat, demonstrated the five exercises of Falun Gong, explained the persecution to the public, and collected signatures on a petition calling to end the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. Several people learned the exercises on the spot.

People Practicing Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance Are Brave and Powerful
Gordana from Croatia practices traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture in Alphen. She has several friends and colleagues from China who have told her about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. She saw the display boards, so she came over and signed the petition.
Gordana said that the honesty, kindness, and tolerance in Eastern culture can help us better understand ourselves, because we not only have bodies, but also minds and souls. She said Eastern cultures can help us better connect with our bodies, souls and minds, and with nature.
She had some insights about why the CCP brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners.
“If a person practices Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and finds their true self, they will overcome fear and become very powerful. This is why [the Chinese Communist Party] wants to crack down on and suppress them, because such people will follow their own hearts, not certain systems, and cannot be controlled,” she said.

“This is Shocking!”
A man in his eighties spent a long time looking at the display boards about the persecution, and then asked, “Doesn’t communism advocate equality for all?”
A practitioner told him that communism deceives people with lies and actually uses violence against the people. During World War II, people initially didn’t believe Hitler was massacring the Jews, or that places like gas chambers and concentration camps existed. People were stunned when the reality unfolded before their eyes.
The practitioner showed him a photo of a Chinese girl in exile in Germany who had her left lung removed after being tricked by a hospital. The practitioner told the man that live organ harvesting is still happening in China and that everyone is in danger if people remain silent and turn a blind eye. The older man squeezed his eyes shut several times, seemingly trying to hold back tears. “This is shocking!” he said. He signed the petition to help stop the forced organ harvesting.
