Senior Practitioner Uses Righteous Thoughts to Avert Persecution

(Minghui.org) A Dafa practitioner who is now in her 80s used her power of righteous thoughts when faced with persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This elderly practitioner has never been to school and was illiterate, but due to the magical power of Dafa, she learned to read Zhuan Falun and other Dafa books. Here are a few of her stories.

This senior practitioner went to Jiujiang City to distribute truth-clarification materials in 2003. She was grabbed by someone who had been misled by the CCP’s lies and refused to listen to her. He insisted on reporting her. The practitioner thought for a moment, “Freeze him!” She then got out of the man’s grasp. His hands were still waving in the air and were making grasping movements, but he could not move his feet. It was as if they were nailed to the ground.

At the Majialong Forced Labor Camp in Jiujiang in 2003, several female inmates who were drug addicts beat Dafa practitioners after being instigated by the police, who promised that their sentences would be commuted. As soon as this elderly practitioner was incarcerated there, the police appointed a drug-addict female inmate to her side. The drug addict abused and beat practitioners. The senior practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts to clear the evil factors behind the inmate. The drug-addict suddenly changed and stopped beating practitioners.

Another drug-addict enhanced her persecution efforts after seeing that the other inmate had stopped beating practitioners. She tried to force Dafa practitioners to watch videos that slandered Dafa, but the senior practitioner resolutely refused to watch. The inmate rolled up her sleeves and rushed forward to beat the senior practitioner, but the senior practitioner looked at her and said, “You beat yourself!” A miracle happened, and the girl really began to slap herself in front of everyone. She was so frightened that she begged for mercy: “Ma’am, please don’t use your supernormal powers on me. I won’t dare do this anymore.” The inmate didn’t do any more so-called "transformation" work after this incident.

In a detention center in 2015, the police pressured practitioners to renounce their belief, but the practitioners resisted. The policewoman in command become very rampant. The senior practitioner told her sternly, “It is a principle of heaven that good is rewarded and evil will meet retribution!” The policewoman didn’t care at all and didn’t believe what the practitioner said, but soon she soon really met with retribution. Her son died in a car accident. Her evil deeds affected her family, and she also understood in her heart that Dafa practitioners’ words were all true. She came to realize that practitioners really hoped that she and the other police officers would understand the truth, no longer participate in the persecution, and leave a way out for themselves.

This policewoman started to respect practitioners, and she even bought food for some of them. She also said to some of them, "If you are sentenced, you don’t have to go down (to prison), just stay here." The policewoman knew that the persecution of practitioners in prison is far crueler than the detention center.
