(Minghui.org) When COVID began spreading in 2020, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) imposed strict lockdowns, and many people were caught off guard. Local villagers were not allowed to leave our area.
I was deeply concerned when I heard this. I thought about my relatives and friends who hadn’t withdrawn from the CCP, and that many people in the world did not know the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa—my heart felt heavy for them.
I quickly contacted a local practitioner to discuss what we could do. She is very diligent and studies the Fa, sends righteous thoughts, and tells people about Falun Dafa. She said that the most urgent task now was to help people understand the facts about Dafa and encourage them to withdraw from the CCP.
The epidemic was severe, and people were panicking. We knew that practitioners should seize the time to save as many people as possible. She and I decided that since the CCP locked down the village to prevent people from leaving, we should fulfill our mission and go door to door to tell people about Falun Dafa and help them withdraw from the CCP and its associated organizations. We asked Master to help us, and then we began visiting every household in the village. We advised people to quit the CCP and sincerely say, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” so they would be spared from the plague and be saved.
With the Master’s compassionate blessing, our truth clarification efforts were successful. After they understood the facts, many villagers withdrew from the CCP and sincerely said, “Falun Dafa is good” every day. In the end, every villager withdrew from the CCP. I deeply realized what Master said, “Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
News about the severity of the pandemic spread quickly and caused the villagers to panic. The other practitioners and I decided to practice the five sets of Falun Dafa exercises every day in my small courtyard, and the soothing music filled the air every morning.
When they heard the music, some people came out of their homes and watched us—they soon asked if they could join us. As time passed, more people came to practice, eventually filling the connected courtyard I shared with my neighbor. The scene truly resembled, “The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and harmonizes everything.” (Lecture Three, Zhuan Falun)
Not long after, a villager told us that although the neighboring village had many COVID cases, not a single person was infected in our large village. The villagers were grateful for Falun Dafa practitioners’ efforts to help them. They recited “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day and asked Master to protect our village. The children were taught to recite: “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Greetings to Master Li!” Some villagers encouraged Falun Dafa practitioners to cultivate well and they asked Master to protect them.
One elderly lady told us, “I told my family that Falun Dafa practitioners began to study the Dafa books loudly during the pandemic because they want to save everyone!” I was very moved when I heard her, and the other villagers’ heartfelt words. People finally understood the truth and were saved.
After they understood the truth about Falun Dafa, many villagers wanted to practice. We felt this was Master’s arrangement and we formed a study group, which continues to this day.
After reincarnating and waiting for thousands of years, we finally had the opportunity to learn the Dafa of the universe from our great Master. In order to thank Master for his boundless compassion, I will cultivate myself diligently and do my best to do the three things, and do as Master asked: “study the Fa, send righteous thought, and clarify the Dafa facts to people.”
