Additional Persecution News from China – January 10, 2025 (5 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial
2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Jing Is Missing
3. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. He Shengqiang’s Home Ransacked
4. [Pingchang County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Shinian Harassed
5. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xu Ruixiong Detained

1. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial

Ms. Xu Chunying, Ms. Sheng Guilan, and two other practitioners’ cases were submitted to the Yanji City Court on January 8, 2025.

2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Jing Is Missing

Ms. Hou Jing, 35, a native of Mei County, Baoji City who was working in a company in Gaoxin District, Xi’an City, went missing in early January 2025.

3. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. He Shengqiang’s Home Ransacked

Mr. He Shengqiang’s home was ransacked around 10 a.m. on December 27, 2024. Eight officers from Gangkou Town Police Station in Chaisang District, led by director Yan Heng, seized his Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and a printer.

4. [Pingchang County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Shinian Harassed

Mr. Wang Shinian has been repeatedly harassed by Wang Xing and Zhang Xun from Pingchang County Discipline Inspection Commission, and Yang Yi from the Domestic Security Division. They threatened to arrest him if he didn’t renounce Falun Gong. Due to the pressure, his family also opposed him in practicing Falun Gong.

5. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xu Ruixiong Detained

Mr. Xu Ruixiong was arrested by Pandong Police Station officers on the afternoon of April 25, 2024, for distributing Falun Gong flyers in the Panzai area. He was detained for six months in Jiedong District Detention Center and released on October 23, 2024.
