Japan: Falun Gong Practitioners in Kumamoto Commemorate the April 25 Appeal in the Rain

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners from Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, held rallies on April 21, 2024, in front of the Chinese consulates in Fukuoka and Nagasaki to commemorate the 25^th Anniversary of the April 25 Peaceful Appeal. They reminded the international community that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for over a quarter of a century. They also called for people to support goodness, protect kindness, and help bring an end to the CCP’s campaign of persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners from Kumamoto Prefecture held rallies in the rain on April 21 in front of the Chinese consulates in Fukuoka and Nagasaki to commemorate the 25^th Anniversary of the April 25 Peaceful Appeal.

Despite the rain, practitioners stood in a straight line on the sidewalk facing the street as they held banners and display boards. They read their statements decrying the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, which has gone on for 25 years.

There was a baseball game that day in the Fukuoka Yahoo Dome Stadium. Many cars and baseball fans passed by. Some put down their car windows to read the banners, and passersby stopped to listen to the practitioners reading the statements. Some passersby looked shocked when they were reading the banners and display boards. A group of baseball fans from a middle school supported Falun Gong practitioners and shouted, “Everybody, please keep it up!” Their loud voices resonated in the rain.

The CCP’s Persecution of Falun Gong Is Abhorrent

Several practitioners read their statements at the rally. They called out the CCP for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for 25 years and urged people to support goodness, protect kindness, and help bring an end to the CCP’s brutality.

Mr. Tanaka, a new practitioner, is a manager in a hospital. This was his first time to commemorate the April 25 Appeal in front of the Chinese consulate, and he was deeply touched. He said, “Because I work in the medical field, I had heard the facts about organ harvesting before I practiced Falun Gong. I often tell my students about my doubts when one talks about the “human body specimen exhibition” and about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. I was very angry when I read the statement about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. I hope the people who work at the Chinese consulate learn the facts about the persecution, wake up sooner rather than later, and can be saved. When a group of middle school students on bicycles waved to us and encouraged us, I felt very happy.”

Spread the Truth and Save People

Mr. Ushijima’s health and xinxing improved by practicing Falun Gong. He recognized the significance of the rally in front of the Chinese consulate and said afterward, “I practiced reading my statement many times at home. I was very excited to read the statement in front of the Chinese Consulate. Many passersby and the drivers read our banners and display boards. Today’s activity can spread the truth and save more people.”
