2. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Harassed

Ms. Lin Zhongying was sentenced to two and a half year in prison by the Jiangbei District Court at the end of 2018. Banan District’s Lianhua Street social security agents looked for her on April 8, 2022, and said, “You improperly received retirement benefits while you were detained. You have to return the 72,871.34 yuan that you received from October 2017 to February 2020.” She refused their unjust demand.

In January and March 2024, local social security agents and community clerks repeatedly went to her home or called her. They ordered her to sign certain notifications and asked for information about her family members.

Before that, the Jiangbei District Court put a 3,000-yuan monthly withdraw limit on her social security account, claiming she did not pay a 3,000-yuan fine.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yuchun’s Home Ransacked

When Mr. Wang Yuchun distributed Falun Gong flyers, a man reported him to the police. An officer from the Lingshui Police Station and clerk Zhang from Mr. Wang’s community ransacked his home around 8:00 p.m. on March 20, 2024. His Falun Gong books were confiscated.
