Using Righteous Thoughts to Eliminate Interference

(Minghui.org) In the past ten-plus years that I have practiced Falun Dafa, I have often felt protected by Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of the practice, which helped me understand the sacredness and wonderfulness of cultivation practice.

In fact, as long as practitioners have strong righteous thoughts, we may experience many miracles of Falun Dafa. Below are two examples.

Missing Information on Police Database

I was arrested in the summer of 2022 because I practiced Falun Dafa. Although I did not give in to the police demands to give up my faith, I lacked compassion for the officers and did not tell them the facts about Dafa. As a result, they tried to force me to write a statement renouncing Falun Dafa, and conducted a physical examination. When they tried to take my fingerprints before sending me to a detention center, I decided I would not cooperate.

I was not sure what would happen at the time. When two officers took me to the basement, I saw a scanner and a computer screen. As one officer was setting up the computer, the other one told me to stand next to the instrument.

“I won’t do fingerprinting,” I said. Surprised, the officer stared at me and said, “It’s not up to you. This is mandatory.”

I kept sending righteous thoughts and did not say anything else. The officer tried to grab my hands to do the fingerprinting, but I pulled them away. The other officer said some dirty words to me and demanded that I cooperate.

Although I was somewhat nervous, I thought about how to handle the situation. Noticing an instruction sign on the wall titled “Fingerprint Entry Process for Criminal Suspects,” I had an idea that I knew was given to me by Master Li. “I am not a criminal suspect and have committed no crime,” I said resolutely. “So, I won’t be fingerprinted.” The two officers looked less sure about what they should do. One of them went out to consult a higher official on the phone.

After the officer returned, he said to the other officer, “Let’s check her record. She was in prison before, so her fingerprints should be in the database.” “You will not find them,” I thought. They spent a long time looking but could not find my record. In the end, they had no choice but to take me back to the police station.

Looking Within to Negate the Internet Blockade

The local practitioners had recently experienced difficulties in overcoming the Internet blockade and browsing online. Two of them thought it was a problem caused by the computer, and re-installed the operating system. Though I was able to access the Minghui.org website every day, I still had issues occasionally.

After downloading the movie Once We Were Divine, it became increasingly difficult to access the Internet. I could barely open the front page of Minghui.org, let alone access the email system. I could not access the Internet outside of China at all for two days. I was very worried about this development. It was the first time I had encountered this problem in so many years, so I asked myself why this was happening.

Nothing that happens on our cultivation paths is accidental, so I looked inward and identified some attachments, including slacking off and paying attention to everyday news. There were other attachments ranging from seeking comfort, showing off, and a competitive mentality, to jealousy and complaining about other practitioners. The Internet issue continued, and I felt that there was some other reason that it was happening. What was it then?

One day when I tried to access the Internet, the message “severe internet blockade” appeared. As I glanced at the dialog box, I looked inward to check where I had deviated from Dafa. One thought suddenly came to mind, “acknowledging arrangements of the old forces.” I realized that this was indeed the case—the old forces have been blocking practitioners from the Minghui website and preventing everyday people from learning the facts. How could we helplessly acknowledge this?

I knew the importance of negating the old forces’ arrangements, but my understanding was superficial. A practitioner had asked me how to fix this problem, and I said, “We all have this problem. It is not just you and I who cannot access Minghui these days.” When I said that, wasn’t I acknowledging the old forces? Wasn’t I misleading other practitioners on this issue? When I accepted what was happening, the old forces had an excuse to cause interference. Recognizing this problem, I immediately corrected my thoughts and sent strong righteous thoughts, “I am a Dafa disciple, and I don’t acknowledge any arrangements by the old forces.”

Master said, regarding breaking Internet blockade:

“We have to let the world’s people see their evil nature, see the wicked acts, and see the truth! So we have to break it. There’s a large number of world-class scientists among the Dafa disciples. We have the ability to break it. They have never been able to block the Minghui website!” (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003)

I sent righteous thoughts to stop the Internet blockade and eliminate the evil elements behind it. I was able to access Minghui soon afterward and it has since been stable. I am able to do what I need to do every day. But looking around, I noticed that some practitioners still have this issue—acknowledging arrangements by the old forces and feeling helpless.

I would like to remind everyone to oppose interference by the old forces, including the Internet blockade. We can do this by sending strong righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors causing the problem. This is not only for us to access Minghui but also to give everyday people opportunities to learn the facts about Falun Dafa and be saved.
