(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Tried
2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zhiying Tried Again
3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yang Baoqin Detained
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Yuling Released After Serving Six Years in Prison
5. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Fengzhen Detained
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Suhua and Ms. Zeng Decui Detained
7. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Jinhua Detained and Faces Indictment
1. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Tried
Ms. Jia Shukun, Ms. Gao Genying, and Ms. Gao Baoxia, of Haizhou Township, were arrested on July 5, 2024, by Shandongtun Police Station officers. They were taken to the Zhaohua Detention Center in Shenyang City on July 6 for criminal detention. The women were scheduled to stand trial on November 27, 2024.
2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Zhiying Tried Again
Ms. Xu Zhiying was scheduled to appear in the Shizhong District Court for the second time on November 28, 2024. Her first hearing was held on September 5, 2024.
3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yang Baoqin Detained
Ms. Yang Baoqin, 66, was arrested and detained in March 2024. She has since been released.
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Yuling Released After Serving Six Years in Prison
Ms. Qi Yuling was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Laiyang City Court on July 11, 2018. She was released on October 18, 2024.
5. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Fengzhen Detained
Ms. Ma Fengzhen of Lulong County was arrested and detained for two weeks. She has since been released.
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Suhua and Ms. Zeng Decui Detained
Ms. Lu Suhua and Ms. Zeng Decui of Jianming Town, Zunhua City, distributed Falun Gong flyers in the Kaoshanzhuang Street Market on October 11, 2024. They were arrested and interrogated by Jianming Town Police Station officers. Agents from the 610 Office took them to Kuntong Hospital for a physical exam and then to a detention center, where they were detained for five days.
7. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Jinhua Detained and Faces Indictment
Ms. Han Jinhua of Huaian City talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong while she was visiting her son in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. She was caught on a surveillance camera. The Xi’an City police went to her home in Zhangjiakou City and arrested her in September 2024. She is being held in Xi’an City’s Lianhu District Detention Center. Her case has been submitted to Xi’an City’s Lianhu District Procuratorate.
