“Your Faith Is the Better One! Your Faith Is Grand!”

(Minghui.org) My coworker Yiting is a Christian, but she likes to listen to what I have to say. One day when she went to the warehouse, she accidentally stepped on a nail that went through her shoe. When I heard about it, I rushed to comfort her. She said, “I just like to hear you talk. I feel at ease right away.” I simply said some things from her standpoint and bought her some food. Yiting said, “At this supermarket, you treat me the best!”

I said to her, “I’m a Falun Dafa practitioner. Master said, ‘every person in the entire world was at one point part of my family’ (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003). Of course I have to listen to Master!” Yiting said, “Your faith is the better one! Your faith is grand!”

Encouraging a Petty Thief’s Kind Thoughts

The baskets that my company uses to deliver products every morning are taken away the following day. But twice recently, several were stolen. I reported this to the receiving department, because the empty baskets are left outside against the wall of the receiving department. One afternoon, the receiving department called to let me know that the person who was stealing the baskets was back.

I went over there and saw the lad in the receiving department glaring at the thief. I quietly asked the man, “What are you doing?” The man was a little nervous and responded, “Nothing. I’m just looking.” I said, “You know we have surveillance cameras. We recycle and reuse those empty baskets next to the wall, so you can’t just take them! You know, you look like a reasonable person.”

The man seemed a little embarrassed. He smiled shyly and said, “I just took a basket that was cracked.” I told him he should never take another one. He agreed and rode away.

The lad in the receiving department said to me afterwards, “I wanted to interrogate that guy. I didn’t think just talking to him like that would solve the problem.”

I said, “People are often quick to attack each other verbally and physically. Both parties suffer, and the problem doesn’t get solved. If we can appeal to people’s kind thoughts, everybody will happy. Wouldn’t that be great?” He nodded in agreement.

New Coworker: “You Are Like a Ray of Sunshine”

Zaiya started to work at the supermarket in December 2023. When I greeted her, she grabbed my arm and smiled, saying, “Please look after me!” Then she said a lot more—as if she were talking to a family member that she had not seen for a long time. I helped her quit the Chinese Communist Party that day.

Before the New Year, I invited Zaiya out to lunch. I told her some facts about Falun Gong, shared some of my cultivation experiences, and told her that if she sincerely recited the phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” her life would be more and more beautiful. I told her this because she had a troubled family: her 21-year-old son was depressed, and her husband was irresponsible, didn’t care about her or their son, and even asked her for money. Zaiya was the responsible one, and that heavy burden left her disheartened and miserable.

A few days later, Zaiya told me, “When I recite the phrases, my whole body is surrounded by a warm current. My son used to go out at night and wander around, but now he goes out during the day and sleeps at night.” On New Year’s Eve, she sent me a message, saying, “You are like a ray of sunshine. Your compassion and beauty gave me warmth.”

Zaiya is now happy and is listening to Master’s lectures. She also continues to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
