A School Girl’s Bone Tumor Disappeared Overnight

(Minghui.org) I want to share my amazing story to validate the incredible power of Falun Dafa, a science beyond any other in this world.　　

When I was in second grade, four friends came to play with me one Sunday. We ran around, jumping on beds and had a great time. But I somehow fell from the bed and hit my right arm on the floor. The pain was severe and I cried hard; my friends were scared and they all left and went back home.

My aunt was visiting, and she and my mother came to see what had happened to me. I cried very loud and screamed, “Pain, pain.” They rushed me to a hospital. The doctor told us that X-ray results revealed a fracture of my right arm. The doctor also said, “Further tests may indicate that the broken bone is due to a disease called multiple myeloma, which can lead to cancerous bone tumors. Treatment is needed and requires immediate hospitalization.”

My mother’s face turned pale. “How do you treat such an illness?”

“We need to remove the tumor in the bone marrow first and then take a piece of bone from the thigh and place it into the arm,” the doctor replied. I stood up and replied, “I am not a vegetable!” “You cannot just cut off some pieces of my body and move them around!” The doctor looked at me, but did not say anything.

“How much does it cost, and what is the success rate?” my aunt asked. 

“It is a complicated surgery and costs about 50,000 yuan. The success rate varies among individual patients,” the doctor explained.

My aunt suggested securing the fractured arm with splints first and waiting until my father came home from a business trip to make further decisions. The doctor said it was meaningless to do so since the tumor would still be present. But my aunt insisted and the doctor knew her personally, so a pair of of splints were applied and I wore an arm sling. 

My mother was in shock and could hardly walk, so my aunt held me with one hand and supported my mother with the other. She turned to me and said gently:

“My child, I see only two options for you at this point. One is to go home with your mother and wait until your father returns. You will then go to the hospital together for the surgery as suggested by the doctor earlier. The other option is to go home with me today to practice Falun Dafa. You can make your choice.”

I did not hesitate and said, “I will go with you to practice.” It was very late when we arrived at my aunt’s home. So we began reading Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Dafa) the next day. We finished lecture one, but it would be almost noon before we could finish the second lecture, so we took a break to have lunch.

My mother called after lunch saying my father was now at home. He was concerned about whether the fracture was aligned well; he did not know about the bone tumor, though. He insisted on our going back to the hospital for another check-up.

When the doctor saw my father, he said, “Oh, it is good that you have returned home. Please go and register for the hospitalization.” My father was perplexed, “Why can’t we take an X-ray first?” The doctor responded, “What is the point of that? She will have to get the tumor removed one way or the other, but if you want another X-ray, we can go ahead and do that.”

After the doctor examined the repeat X-ray very carefully he exclaimed, “The bones are connected perfectly, and the fractured area has grown back. The tumor...hey, where is the tumor? Where did the tumor go? Why is there no tumor visible on the film!?”

He looked puzzled, as he went back and forth comparing the current X-ray film with the one taken the day before. He shook his head and mumbled: “Incredible! Unbelievable!” Orthopedic surgeons from the entire department came to take a look and commented, “Strange indeed! A fracture healed overnight! A bone tumor disappeared in one day?! I certainly have never seen that before!”

I remembered the words of Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) from Zhuan Falun that morning:

“Therefore, once a person wants to cultivate, his or her Buddha-nature is considered to have come forth. Such a thought is most precious, for this person wants to return to his or her original, true self and transcend the ordinary human level. 

"Perhaps everyone has heard this statement in Buddhism, "When one’s Buddha-nature emerges, it will shake the World of Ten Directions.” Whoever sees it will come to give a hand and help this person out unconditionally.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)

I suddenly realized that when I decided to practice Falun Dafa the previous night, Master had already helped me! It is so great to have a Master! My mother was so grateful that tears of joy ran down her face. From that point on, Dafa accompanied me through elementary, middle school, and high school as well as college; with my Master’s protection, I also had a relatively peaceful cultivation environment.
