Upholding My Faith Despite Persecution

(Minghui.org) In 2009, I was detained for refusing to give up my belief in Falun Dafa. I continued to do the exercises in the detention center. When the director saw this, he was furious. “How dare you practice here!” he yelled. “I’m going to take care of you right now!”

I wasn’t afraid. The persecution had been going on for ten years by then, and I knew the best way to face it was to keep strong righteous thoughts and uphold my faith.

I said to him, “Falun Dafa is the supreme Buddha Law. It teaches people to be good. My doing the exercises doesn’t affect you, so why do you want to persecute me? You should know that if you persecute innocent people, there will be karmic retribution. For your own sake, you should quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.”

To my surprise, the director replied, “Alright! I will quit!”

When I went back to my cell, everyone was surprised to hear the director telling them not to bother me if I do the Falun Dafa exercises again. I took the opportunity to clarify the facts about Dafa to them and over a dozen people quit the CCP.

One month later, I was sentenced to one year and three months for practicing Dafa. The labor camp refused to admit me due to my extremely high blood pressure. I was taken back to the detention center and released a month later. I believe my high blood pressure was an illusion created by Master to protect me from having to serve time in the labor camp. 

Family Blessed for Reciting Falun Dafa Auspicious Phrases

When we practice Falun Dafa, Master not only protects practitioners, but also watches out for our family members.

A distant relative of mine was an alcoholic and suffered from liver failure. He was treated for over a year without any improvement. I told him to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa. He did this, and has now completely recovered.

My aunt was diagnosed with colon cancer and the doctor said she had only three months to live. She began to recite the auspicious phrases, and all her symptoms disappeared in five months. It's been nine years and she is still alive and cancer free!

In March this year, my son’s car was hit head on by a ten-wheeler truck at an intersection. The front of the car was completely smashed, but my son was unharmed. The truck driver was astonished and said, “You are certainly being looked after by higher beings! Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable!”
