The Genetic Disease in My Family Is Gone for Good

(Minghui.org) Several of my family members have been afflicted with a very complicated genetic disease called hemophilia. It is a bleeding disorder in which the blood cannot clot properly. Hemophilia is a sex-linked genetic disorder that can be life-threatening if not managed closely by a doctor. Females may carry the gene and not express the disease, but it can be passed on to their children, most often males, who then do get the disease.

Hemophilia has brought great sorrow and pain to my family. All four of my younger brothers had this disease. They became disabled due to bleeding into the joints of their legs, and finally died of continuous bleeding in their internal organs. Two of them passed away in their thirties, one in his teens, and another one died when he was only a few years old.

My mother had a hard life and has endured the pain of the loss of her four sons. My father suffered a heart attack at the age of 60, and she had to shoulder all the family burdens. Because of financial hardship and mental stress, my mother struggled with her suffering. She was plagued by several serious illnesses, including chronic shortness of breath and pulmonary heart disease.

My aunt’s eldest son also suffered from hemophilia. He was paralyzed and confined to a bed for many years and died in his thirties. Her husband was bedridden due to a serious illness and died in sorrow after he lost his son. Due to the mental stress, my aunt has lived in bitterness.

My younger cousin and nephew on my aunt’s side of the family also suffered from hemophilia. They are smart and kind. I searched for various remedies for them but to no avail. They lived in pain and we felt sad for them.

Benefits of Practicing Falun Dafa

I had been very weak since I was a child. I had heart disease, nervous headaches, lumbar vertebral hyperplasia, and bronchitis. Due to family stress and sorrow, I suffered from depression and had to retire from my job in my forties. To heal my illnesses, I spent time in temples and practiced some fake qigong, making my health even more of a mess.

While strolling in the park one morning in 1997, I saw a group of people doing exercises. I walked over and sat with them. I picked up a book owned by a practitioner and flipped through a few pages. I felt that it was a good book, but did not know where to buy one. The practitioner told me where I could get the book. She also said that this was not an ordinary qigong and I should first practice for a while before buying the book.

However, I immediately bought a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, and roughly flipped through it at home. It was well written, and I became very excited before finishing it. I went back to the bookstore to buy a few more copies for my relatives and friends in my hometown. I asked my mother and aunt to come over to my home to practice the exercises and study the Fa with me. When they came, I gave each of them a copy of Zhuan Falun and took them to the group exercise site. We also watched Master’s Fa teaching videos together at home.

After we practiced for a few months, all three of us became illness-free and walked with ease. The diseases that had plagued us for years disappeared completely. We have not taken any medicine or needed to go to the hospital since then. The happiest thing in life is being healthy without any illness.

Both my mother and my aunt were illiterate, but they were able to read the entire Zhuan Falun book in less than half a year. My family, relatives, and friends all witnessed this miracle. My mother passed away peacefully at the age of 94. My aunt had a happy golden age and died at the age of 89.

The End of a Genetic Disease in My Family

My nephew is the last survivor of this genetic disease in my family. He grew up suffering every day as a result of hemophilia. His legs were deformed, and he had a hard time walking. In 1998, I invited him to my home and taught him to study the Fa and do the exercises. Master Li has taken care of my nephew since then and helped him eliminate the sickness karma he had endured for years.

In the past 20 years, he has been very healthy. He got married in his thirties. His son is already five years old and is healthy and intelligent. The whole family has been happy and joyful. A hospital examination indicated that his blood coagulation factor was normal. This genetic disease in our family finally ended in this generation! That was a miracle!
