(Minghui.org) Although we study the Fa every day and try to put Dafa’s guiding principles into practice, we need to be mindful of changing our human mindsets and not treat things in an ordinary way when a problem occurs. Dafa cultivation is extraordinary. As long as we believe in Master and the Fa and use our divine thoughts and supernatural powers, the grandeur of Dafa will manifest itself.
One summer after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa, I went out at 5 a.m. to buy tofu. I saw signs hanging all over, but only one sign near my house slandered Dafa. I thought, “I’ll get up early tomorrow morning, bring a knife, and cut it down. I can’t let it poison people!”
When I sat down at 6 a.m. to send forth righteous thoughts, I suddenly remembered the sign. I thought, “Practicing Dafa gives us supernatural powers. Do I need to use my hands to remove that sign? I’ll use divine power and have it disappear.” So I sent righteous thoughts for half an hour. When I took my child to kindergarten at 7 a.m., I saw that the sign was gone. I said with joy in my heart, “This is the great power of Dafa!”
In the spring of this year, there was a display board near a hospital that defamed Dafa. The practitioners in our area were concerned it would turn people against Dafa and wanted to take it down. I said, “Don’t we have supernatural abilities? Let’s use the power of Dafa to remove it! When we get home, don’t forget to send forth righteous thoughts.” We all agreed, “Yes! Let the gods of wind and rain help us remove it.” We went home and sent forth righteous thoughts that night. When I went back there, I saw that the display board was gone.
When I went with another practitioner to put up posters to counter the persecution in a rural area, the police apprehended us. Faced with that sudden ordeal, my mind was blank; only the formulas for sending forth righteous thoughts remained. When I recited the formulas, it was just as Master said,
“... single-mindedly with nothing else in mind until other portions of the brain become numb and one becomes unaware of anything.” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
When the police asked me my name, I didn’t tell them. They took us to the police station and locked us up in the basement, where we were interrogated separately. Because I didn’t say anything, they tried to use the computers in different rooms to find my identity. I then heard one officer say, “I don’t know what’s wrong today. None of the computers are working.” I knew this was the effect of my powerful righteous thoughts. The divine power came to the surface and suppressed their attempts to persecute me. I was released later that night.
I didn’t know I would be released so soon. I just let go of all thoughts, put myself in Master’s hands, and denied the wicked arrangements of the old forces. Under Master’s benevolent care, I was able to escape danger.
Whether we use righteous thoughts or divine powers, this is not just lip service—it’s a real demonstration of our degree of faith in Master and the Fa. Do you believe that you are a divine being? Then stick to godly notions to actively cultivate!
Master said:
“You know, for a divine being to move a mountain is nothing; moving mountains is easy. However, that being doesn’t have human thinking. His notions are all godly ones, and his state of being is one befitting a divine being.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2013 Greater New York Fa Conference”, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XII)
The Fa-rectification is approaching the end, so let’s cultivate to get rid of human attachments and manifest our divine power.
