(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 28 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Lang Dongyue Faces Trial

Ms. Lang Dongyue from Yanqing County will be tried in the new Xuanhua Court in Zhangjiakou City at 9 a.m. on March 8, 2023.

2. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Xie Guifang Arrested

Ms. Xie Guifang was arrested by officers in Qilihe on February 28, 2023. She is detained.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] The Case Against Mr. Zhu Deshan and Mr. Bai Hongyou Submitted to the Court

The case against Mr. Zhu Deshan and Mr. Bai Hongyou from Yilan County was submitted to the Yilan County Court.

4. [Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Tongyou Arrested

Mr. Xu Tongyou from Zhanhe Forestry District was arrested on March 3, 2023. His home was ransacked.

5. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Shuiqing Arrested

Ms. Chen Shuiqing was arrested by officers from the Haitian Police Station in the Chikan District. She is held in the Zhanjiang City Detention Center.

6. [Jiansanjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Yuanzhen Arrested

Ms. Liu Yuanzhen from Qianjin Farm was followed and arrested by local officers on the morning of February 16, 2023. She was detained in Tongjiang City and was later transferred to Jiamusi City. Her family is not allowed to visit her.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. He Yan was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Wujiashan Street Police Station in the Dongxihu District on March 2, 2023. She is held in the No.1 Detention House of Wuhan City. 

Practitioners Xie and Yu from the Jiahai Industry Park in Panlongcheng were reported to police for distributing truth-clarifying materials and were arrested on the evening of March 4, 2023. They are held in the No. 1 Detention Center of Wuhan City.

8. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Xiangling Arrested

Officers from the Yunyan District Police Department went to Ms. Wang Xiangling’s home at 2 p.m. on February 27, 2023. They ransacked it. Ms. Wang was taken by officers from the Baiyun North Road Police Station to the Guiyang City police department for interrogation at 3 p.m.

9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Weng Qingzhong Arrested

Mr. Weng Qingzhong from Dayuan Village in Baiyun District, was recently arrested by officers from the Tonghe Police Station in Baiyun District. It’s unknown where he is now.

10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Jiang Shujun and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Jiang Shujun and his wife from Qingshan Township, Nong’an County, were arrested recently. They are detained in Nong’an County. 

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested 

Officers from the Fulongquan Town Police Station in Nong’an County, arrested five practitioners on March 3, 2023. They are Ms. Wang Xiuying, Ms. Shao Benlan, Ms. Li Minglan, Ms. Liu Guixin, and Ms. Xiao Changyun. Ms. Wang Xiuying has been detained. The other four practitioners were released later that day due to their high blood pressure.

12. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang and Ms. Li Cuiling Arrested

Ms. Jiang from Longtan District was arrested recently when she posted information about Falun Gong. 

Ms. Li Cuiling was arrested at home by officers from the Zunyi Road Police Station in Longtan District on the evening of March 3, 2023. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, a laptop, a printer, two cell phones and more than 2000 yuan in cash.

13. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Diancheng Harassed

Two officers from the Chaoyang Township Police Station went to Mr. Liu Diancheng’s home on the morning of February 27, 2023. They took samples of his DNA and videotaped him. 

14. [Suning County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Wensong Arrested and Detained

Mr. Wu Wensong, 69, was reported to police by a village community member when he distributed information about Falun Gong in Ziyoukou Village, Shisu Township. He was arrested by officers from the Shisu Township Police Station on the evening of March 4, 2023. He is now detained in the Shisu Detention Center.

15. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Shufen Arrested

Ms. Gao Shufen from Bajiazi Town in Jianchang County, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on March 2, 2023. The officers participating her arrest, are Yang Zhichao, deputy of Jianchang County Police Department, Dong, head of the Bajiazi Police Department, and Zhao Qingguang. Ms. Gao was later taken to the Jianchang New District Hospital due to her physical condition. She is now placed under residential surveillance and will be tried soon.

16. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested 

Three practitioners, Ms. Zhang Qian, Ms. Liu Guijie, and Ms. Wang Li, were arrested by officers from the Shuanglong Town Police Station and are currently held in the Gongzhuling City Detention Center.

17. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Lei Yuanhua Arrested

Ms. Lei Yuanhua was recorded by surveillance cameras when she distributed truth-clarifying materials in a residential community. She was arrested on February 16, 2023 and was sent to the Chenzhou Detention House. She was released in early March 2023.
