Dafa Saved Me, So I Must Save More People

(Minghui.org) While growing up in northeastern China, my parents told me stories about divine beings, as well as “The Cowherd and The Weaver Girl” from Chinese mythology. Under their influence, I began to believe and respect divine beings.

I borrowed some money from my relatives to open a wedding service business. We rent out wedding dresses, offer a make-up service for the bride and groom, and decorate the wedding vehicle. Our business was doing very well. I had a steady income and was admired.

In the big dye vat of ordinary society, however, I began competing with others in my profession in an attempt to be successful. But this left me with eating and sleeping problems. I was diagnosed with all sorts of ailments by the age of 30, such as pancreatitis, gastroptosis, gastritis, neurasthenia, and skin allergies. I cannot describe the pain I was in.

I thought to myself, “Are there any magical pills that can cure me?” My confidence was gone, and I hit rock bottom.

Discovering Cultivation Practice

During the spring of 1999, my older sister gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun and encouraged me to learn Falun Dafa. I then began my cultivation journey and learned that the purpose of being human is to return to our original true self.

I now live by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to take fame and worldly gains lightly, to prioritize cultivating my character (xinxing), and to put other people’s interests first. I elevated my xinxing and was able to create a harmonious relationship with my in-laws. My ailments also completely disappeared, and I experienced the joy of being illness free.

My life became fulfilled and people liked having me around. This is a testament to the supernatural wonder of Dafa!

On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin, former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), launched the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners and slandered Dafa’s Master (Li Hongzhi). I was also persecuted.

Reaching Out to Save People

In order to help people see through the lies propagated by the CCP and help Master rectify the Fa, Dafa practitioners have been steadfast in fulling their vows to awaken the kindness and compassion in sentient beings for 23 years, regardless of the weather, challenges, and setbacks.

“I admire Falun Dafa the most!”

One hot summer’s day, a fellow practitioner and I rode our bikes to the neighboring village. We met a 50-year-old man shoveling sand. We greeted him and wished him well. He asked us where we were going. We told him that we were going to the village to save people. He exclaimed, “I admire Falun Dafa the most!”

He told us the villagers grow melons and sell them to vendors outside the village, who come to pick them up. A villager once noticed that a vendor gave him a fake bill. A heated argument ensued, and a Dafa practitioner close to the scene understood the situation. The practitioner ripped up the fake money and gave 100 yuan from his own pocket to the villager. Since then, the man knew that practitioners were good people.

He thanked me when I gave him some truth-clarification pamphlets and said, “I’ll only read it if it is from a Falun Dafa practitioner!”

I admired that practitioner in his story. He helped the person recover their loss and educated others not to hurt people with fake money. He did something that most people wouldn’t do. The villagers saw the goodness of Falun Dafa from his actions.

“I admire your bravery; still standing after so many years.”

Practitioners and I were once clarifying the truth at a busy market and handing out pamphlets. I was in a good mood because many people either agreed to quit the CCP or accepted our materials. I wanted to tell everyone that understanding the truth is their only hope for salvation.

A man I approached listened to me and said, “I didn’t quit the CCP when other people tried to convince me.” I replied, “The gods are testing everyone during the persecution of Falun Dafa to see whether a person stands on the side of righteousness. Those who do will gain protection. Dafa practitioners carry the responsibility of saving sentient beings and help people quit the CCP and its related organizations, so they can remove the mark of the beast and not become the Party’s scapegoats.

“The CCP’s days are numbered and gods are ready to eliminate it. The Party has committed innumerable atrocities such as widespread corruption and killing over 80 million Chinese people during its political movements. Today, they persecute good people who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Anyone who persecutes people of faith will be punished for it. Zhou Yongkong, Bo Xilai, and several high-ranking officials were imprisoned for corruption, but in truth, they were suffering karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa. What goes around comes around. Only by quitting the Party can you stay safe from catastrophes.”

The man then agreed to quit and accepted all the materials I had. Before he left, he wished me well.

A well-dressed, middle-aged man walked up to me. I gave him a brochure, and he said, “I will accept this from a Falun Dafa practitioner. I admire your bravery; still standing after so many years.” His words touched me deeply. Dafa practitioners’ efforts have not been in vain.

“I am a Party Member and government official”

At a busy market, I clarified the truth to any predestined person I ran into. I talked to a middle aged man as he was walking. He stopped and wanted to chat. We went to an area with less traffic. I began: “You’re a nice person. For the safety of you and your family, I need to tell you about quitting the CCP to escape catastrophes. Human morality is declining rapidly: homosexuality, drugs, prostitution, extra marital affairs, fake baby formula, and fake rice are commonplace.

“The air is filled with viruses and bacteria that affect everyone’s health. Human civilization is at a dangerous stage. If people don’t fix the issue, heaven will. Jiang Zemin persecuted Falun Dafa and staged the self-immolation incident at Tiananmen Square to lie to the world.

“The CCP also harvests Falun Dafa practitioners’ organs. Their evil acts have been exposed to the world. The divine is going to eliminate the CCP. Quitting the Party is the only way to stay safe. Over 200,000 Dafa practitioners and their family members have sued Jiang Zemin and delivered the lawsuits to the Supreme Court. Good will always conquer evil!”

As I spoke, wisdom flowed from my mouth like a river, and the man listened and looked at me with admiration. He said, “I’m a Party Member and government official.” I told him that it didn’t matter who he was, as any life is most precious. He smiled, quit the Party, and also signed the petition to support suing Jiang.

After I handed him some truth clarification materials, he pointed to his home and said to bring over any more information. Before we parted, I informed him of the auspicious phrase, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and said that he and his family could recite it when they are in danger.

I am grateful for Master’s compassionate mercy and cherish all the opportunities that He has given us. In the limited time we have left, I would like to make good of every opportunity I have to save more people and help them understand ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ so they can have a brighter future.
