1. [Qianjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Case Against Ms. You Xuefei Turned Over to the Procuratorate

Ms. You Xuefei has been held in Qianjiang City Detention Center since early 2022. Her case files were transferred from the Qianjiang City Procuratorate to the Hanjiang Branch of the Hubei Provincial Procuratorate, and then to the Xiantao City Procuratorate.

2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yuan Huaxiu Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yuan Huaxiu was arrested on July 1, 2021, and has been held in custody for a year. On July 6, 2022, Ms. Yuan was sentenced to three years in prison by the Chengdu High-tech Zone Court and Procuratorate, which made the decision with no transparency. She refused to accept the sentence and appealed.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Hongxia Tried

Ms. Liu Hongxia was tried by the Criminal Division of Ganjingzi District Court on July 13, 2022.

Ms. Liu has been on a hunger strike for five months and has been given infusions. The court tried her remotely via video link despite her deteriorating condition. During the trial Ms. Liu was half lying on the chair and did not speak. Her lawyer’s request to postpone the court hearing was dismissed.

4. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners in Tongren Residential Community of Taoshan District were arrested by officers from the Taonan Police Station on July 11, 2022. They held an experience sharing meeting at practitioner Cai’s home in March, after which they were monitored and followed. Practitioners over 70 years old have now returned home, including Ms. Huang. Cai and Lu are still being held in custody.

5. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Teng Yiquan Passed Away

Mr. Teng Yiquan from Tengzhuangzi Village, Huanghua City, was arrested and detained by police and Domestic Security Division officers many times for clarifying the truth about the persecution. The last time he was taken into custody his case was turned over to the Huanghua Procuratorate and the court. This caused him severe mental and physical harm, and he developed serious illness symptoms. When he passed away on August 26, 2021, he was only 52 years old.

6. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Lihua from the Xinyuan Residential Community in the Xinxing District was arrested on July 11, 2022. Further information is pending.

Ms. Guo Chunling, Ms. Yuan Mei’e, and Mr. Zhang Guangcai from Shanfeng Village, Lanfeng Township, Hongwei Town, Qiezihe District, were arrested and their homes were ransacked on July 11. Further information is pending.

Yang Liwen from Qitaihe City was arrested and taken to a detention center on July 11.

7. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Cunlan was arrested by two officers from the Xiangyang Police Station on July 12, 2022. The officers confiscated seven Falun Gong books, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, and an audio player.

Ms. Zhang Qiulan, Ms. Cao Fengmin, Ms. Yao Lina, Ms. He Shuling, Ms. Zhao Zhongxiu, Ms. Yan Fengmei, and Ms. Chen Mingying were arrested by officers from the No. 1 and No. 3 Police Stations on July 11. Ms. He, Ms. Yan, and Ms. Chen have since returned home.

8. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Su Anying Arrested

Ms. Su Anying from Liaoyang County was arrested at her work in a hospital by officers from the Baitangfang Police Station on July 12, 2022.

9. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Su Guiqing Arrested

Su Guiqing from the Hongwei District was arrested at home on July 4, 2022. Su was to be detained for ten days. Due to the pandemic, Su was released and returned home that day.

10. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Xuesong Held in Detention Center Since August 2021

Elderly Ms. Li Xuesong from Weiyang District has been held in the Weiyang District Detention Center since August 2021.

11. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Zhentie and Wife Ms. Liu Yanqiu Arrested

Mr. Sun Zhentie fell to the ground while riding a bicycle to a grocery store. He was injured, and had difficulty moving. His wife Ms. Liu Yanqiu rushed home to take care of him. When she was about to enter the gate of the community, officers from the Dongzhan Police Station in Erdao District, who were waiting there, grabbed the keys to her home and arrested her and her husband. The officers also confiscated Falun Gong books they found in the couple’s home.

12. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Rongqin Arrested

Officers from the Dongguan Police Station in Hantai District asked Ms. Zhang Rongqin to go to the police station. When she arrived, the officers immediately gave her a physical examination. She was taken to the Xixiang County Detention Center and held for five days. Her family was notified to take her home on July 5.

13. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Jin Arrested

Ms. Wang Jin was arrested at home by officers from Lushan County Police Department at midnight on July 4, 2022. Her computer was confiscated.

14. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Practitioners in Shizhong District have been harassed since early June 2022. Their relatives were coerced to sign the three statements. The practitioners were not allowed to go out to tell others about Falun Gong or distribute truth-clarification materials. Their relatives were told that once the three statements are signed, the practitioners’ names will be removed from the database, otherwise the police will follow them whenever they go out.

Practitioners who have been harassed include Ms. Yin Jiling, Ms. Wang Zhengmo, Ms. Lu Haiqiong, Ms. Tan Junying, Ms. Su Chunxiu, Ms. Shuai Birong, Ms. Li Suhua, Ms. Jiang Yuqiong, and Mr. Huang Hongquan.

15. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Yanchun Arrested

Ms. Pang Yanchun, about 55, was arrested at home on July 12, 2022. She was handcuffed, and it was unknown where she was being held.

16. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked

Several practitioners from the No. 9 Oil Production Plant in Daqing City were arrested by officers from the Longnan Police Department on the morning of July 12, 2022.

Ms. Dang Qiu’e was arrested at 5 a.m. by officers from the Longnan Police Department when she went downstairs on her way out. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a Falun Gong book. She was released on bail that afternoon.

Four officers broke into Mr. Li Yequan’s home and arrested him after 6 a.m. They confiscated a cell phone and a laptop. Mr. Li was released on bail that afternoon.

Shortly after 6 a.m. four officers and community management office members broke into Ms. Ding Guiying’s home on the grounds of checking electric circuits. They ransacked the place and confiscated Falun Gong books and printed materials. Ms. Ding was released on bail that afternoon.

Ms. Zhang Shuyun and Ms. Cheng Qiaoyun were also arrested at the same time. Further details are not yet available.

17. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yan Shaoyi Arrested

Mr. Yan Shaoyi from the Dongchenglingxiu community in Longfeng District was about to go to work on the morning of July 12, 2022. He was arrested by officers who were waiting downstairs at his apartment building. The officers pried open his door and ransacked his home.

18. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Xu Jinfeng was followed by the police for more than 20 days. Several officers from the Tiedong Police Station in Fuyu County arrested Ms. Xu and her older brother at 6 a.m. on July 12, 2022. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and photos of Falun Gong’s founder.

On the same day, Ms. Ju Yanhui, Ms. Song Xinhua, Ms. Zhang Qing, Ms. Hu Guifen, and Ms. Yang Yue were also arrested. The officers went to Ms. Tang Ying’s home to harass her. Ms. Yang Yue has since returned home.

19. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Zhao Qingsan Faces Trial

Zhao Qingsan (gender unknown) was scheduled to be tried in the No. 3 Courtroom of Chenghua District Court at 9:20 a.m. on July 25, 2022.

20. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cui Feng and Mr. Xu Qinghua Arrested

Ms. Cui Feng from Changyingzi Town, Xinqiu District, was arrested around July 10, 2022.

Mr. Xu Qinghua, from Fuxin Mongol Autonomous County, Fuxin City, was arrested by officers from the Xuzhou City Police Department in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, on July 13, 2022, for mailing truth-clarification materials. He was taken to Xuzhou City.

21. [Lu County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Lihui Tried

Ms. Zhang Lihui from Naxi District was scheduled to be tried by the Lu County Court on July 13, 2022.

Ms. Zhang was arrested while distributing Falun Gong materials at the Desheng Town farmers market on November 7, 2021. She was held in the Luzhou City Detention Center.

22. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Feng Xiaohua Harassed

Officers from the Domestic Security Division of Huanan County Police Department harassed several practitioners at their homes on July 13, 2022. Ms. Feng Xiaohua, a retired teacher, was taken from her home and is held in the police station.

23. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Guocheng was arrested by officers from the Guanyin’ge Police Station on the morning of July 13, 2022. Ms. Cao Dongmei was arrested on the morning of July 13. Ms. Cao’s father Mr. Cao Bin, her mother Ms. Zhang Yongjuan, and her younger brother were arrested on the evening of July 12.

24. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fengqin Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengain was arrested at home by officers from the Kangzhuang Police Station on the morning of June 24, 2022. Her whereabouts are unknown.

25. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Sheng Li Missing for Days

Ms. Sheng Li from the Bao’an District has been missing for days. The police had threatened her and placed her under residential surveillance for talking to people about Falun Gong.

26. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cao Jinhui Arrested

Ms. Cao Jinhui was arrested on July 11, 2022.

27. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Jiekang Missing for Over a Year

Mr. Zhang Jiekang, in his 40s, has been missing since May 2021.

28. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Tang Detained

Tang from the Beijiaohua Residential Community was harassed by the police on the evening of July 11, 2022. Five officers from Jiaoqu State Security Division arrested Tang, and Tang’s home was ransacked. It is not known where Tang is being held.

29. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuhua Released on Bail

Officers from the Jiaoqu Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang Xiuhua’s home on July 11, 2022. They confiscated a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and her national ID card. Ms. Zhang and her husband were taken to the Changqing Police Station and held there overnight. On the morning of July 12, the officers took her to Hongda Hospital for a medical examination, and then to the Huanan County Detention Center in the afternoon. She was denied admittance, as she failed the physical examination. After returning to the Jiaoqu Police Station, the officers in charge of her case processed paperwork and she was released on bail.

30. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jin Jie and Ms. Qin Yuzhen Arrested

Mr. Jin Jie was arrested by officers from the Changqing Police Station on July 12, 2022. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Qin Yuzhen was arrested by officers from the Youyi Road Police Station on the evening of July 12.

31. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Yanying Harassed

Two officers from Changsheng Police Station went to Ms. Li Yanying’s home and took pictures on July 8, 2022.

Two staff members from Shengli Community Management Office went to Ms. Li’s home at around 10 a.m. on July 13 and told her to sign paperwork, which her family refused.
