(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Bali were invited to perform at a celebration of Indonesia’s 77th Independence Day. The event was held at the Mall Bali Galeria on August 14, 2022. The Tian Guo Marching Band and Waist Drum Team performances by the group were well-received by local residents and tourists.
Before the performance, the emcee introduced Falun Dafa to the audience. The Tian Guo Marching Band started off with the song “Falun Dafa Is Good,” followed by four pieces performed by the Waist Drum Team.

The audience applauded while watching the performances from different corners of the stage all the way to the top floor. Some of them clapped and waved their hands in time to the music. Many people took photos and videos with their cell phones.
After watching the performances, a woman from Jakarta who was vacationing in Bali gave practitioners thumbs up. She said that she knew Falun Dafa was good.
A young man who came with his family said that he really liked the practitioners’ performances.

During the event the emcee also talked about the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party that Falun Dafa practitioners in China are subjected to. The persecution began in 1999 and has gone on for 23 years.
Practitioners also distributed information about Falun Dafa during the event. They hope that the informational materials can help visitors and Indonesian citizens learn the real story behind the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Dafa.
