(Minghui.org) The Hujindian Brainwashing Center, located in a fishing resort near a river in Hujindian Town, Yunmeng County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, has been used by the authorities to persecute Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to renounce their faith.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

The resort is located on 108 Fuqian Blvd., Yunmeng County, Hubei Province. The postal code is 432515. The phone number is 86-712-4419999. The brainwashing center uses a four-story building in the resort. The entrance is about 200 meters from the building. Some construction workers are currently living in the building to work on the power line.

Every Falun Gong practitioner detained there stays in a room with two staff members assigned to monitor them. Each of the staff members receives a 200 yuan daily stipend.

Mr. Li Xiaoqiang and Ms. Yang Xiaofeng were arrested on March 3, 2022. Feng and Pan, two former Falun Gong practitioners from Wuhan, were assigned to monitor them. After 33 days of brainwashing, officials from the Xiaogan City 610 Office, came to examine whether Mr. Li and Ms. Yang were indeed “transformed.” The officials also praised Feng and Pan for their efforts in monitoring the practitioners.

A third practitioner, Ms. Liu Jinhua, was arrested on April 11, 2022 and taken to the brainwashing center. It was reported that the authorities monitored her for a week before the arrest.

A fourth practitioner, Ms. Shu Siying, was followed by police on her way home on April 13 after picking up her child from school. The officers attempted to handcuff her, but relented upon protest by her parents-in-law. Both she and Ms. Liu are still being held at the brainwashing center at the time of this writing.

Another practitioner, Ms. Xiao Xiaoping, wasn’t home when the police broke into her place on April 12. The officers stayed outside of her apartment and broke in again at night when the light was turned on. As she still wasn’t home, the police ransacked the place and confiscated three Falun Gong magazines. They made another attempt to arrest her the next day, but still didn’t find her. To avoid being arrested, Ms. Xiao has been forced to live away from home.
