Police Officer Clarifies the Truth at Work

(Minghui.org) I am a police officer who first heard about Falun Dafa in 1994 when I transferred to a police station in a small township. I transferred back to my hometown in October 1997 and began to practice with local practitioners. I read the Fa teachings every day and joined the others in doing the exercises outdoors. After I began to cultivate, I became a much better person, and my life became meaningful.

My entire family also greatly benefited from Falun Dafa. My wife used to have headaches, but the medicine didn’t help. I encouraged her to practice Falun Dafa, and Master cleaned out the bad things in her body. She fully recovered just two months after she began practicing Falun Dafa.

Remembering that Work Is a Cultivation Environment

I am strict with myself at work and follow the Falun Dafa principles. I was a police station chief. I picked up office supplies from the store and recorded in detail each item I purchased, who used it, and what it was used for. When the store came to the police station to settle the balance, the director of the police station noticed that I had recorded every transaction. When there was a new person or deputy in the office, I always asked the director’s opinion on what to buy. He was satisfied with my work. I told him I cultivated Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and followed Dafa’s principles.

Because I often picked up supplies at the store, the employees were very polite and tried to give me gifts for the Chinese New Year, which I refused to accept. They knew I was a practitioner and thus had a very positive impression of Falun Dafa. They were very happy to deal with me as I never accepted bribes like some police officers did.

Clarifying the Truth While Working Near a Tourist Area

I was transferred to a police station near a tourist area in the spring of 2005. The movement to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations had already started by then. I encouraged my coworkers and the tourists I met to quit the CCP.

I once clarified the truth to a group of tourists in front of a temple and offered to help them withdraw from the Party. Some threatened to report me to my supervisor since I was on duty and was in uniform. I sent righteous thoughts, and they changed their minds.

I was later persecuted for practicing Falun Dafa and was transferred out of this police station.

Clarifying the Truth at Work

I’ve been persecuted many times because I refuse to stop practicing Falun Dafa. I let go of the fear of death and overcame many tribulations. Eventually I went back to the police station in my hometown. When I helped to question a witness, I would clarify the truth and encourage the person to quit the CCP while the other police officers were away. I knew Master arranged for all these opportunities so I could clarify the truth.

Once I went to a hospital to collect evidence from someone who was involved in a fight. The victim was very moved after I clarified the truth to him. He truly felt the kindness of a Falun Dafa practitioner. After he was released from the hospital, he visited the chief of the police station where I worked and said, “It would be wonderful if you were all like this police officer (me) who follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” The chief was very moved.

I was later assigned to collect information about the stores in my area so I visited many store owners every day. I used this opportunity to clarify the truth to them and talked to almost all of the store owners in my district.

Before I began practicing Falun Dafa, I was assigned to a police station in a small village not far from my hometown. I slapped a suspect in the face while investigating a theft. This person later came to my town to do business. I apologized to him for my behavior, and he agreed to withdraw from the CCP.

The police are responsible for overseeing many people, including former detainees, and assessing them regularly. Other police officers usually just make up something up for the assessment. I did not do that. Instead, I collected their phone numbers and called each one. I used the opportunity to clarify the truth to them. I not only got my work done but also persuaded many people to quit the CCP organizations.

Once I followed up with a thief. He told me how he stole things and later a wall collapsed and injured him. I told him the principle that good is rewarded and bad deeds incur retribution. I told him that stealing harms others and he had received retribution for doing wrong. He told me he would try to be a good person.

I also had to collect the data for the businesses in the countryside, which gave me an opportunity to clarify the truth to the people I met.

When I registered the information for a car repair shop, I learned the owner’s mother had once practiced Falun Dafa and had even attended Master’s Fa lectures in person. However, she stopped practicing due to fear after the CCP launched the persecution. I gave her an MP3 player loaded with Master’s Fa lecture files so she could listen to the Fa. She asked her son to quit the CCP, but he refused. I went to the repair shop to clarify the truth to him, and he eventually agreed to withdraw from the CCP.

I later registered a rental place where people in the car repair business lived. I told them the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa. One of them told me his mother also practiced Falun Dafa and called her in. I was excited to meet another practitioner and we chatted. She did not cultivate diligently and did not have any Dafa books. I gave them an MP3 player with Master’s Fa lectures. They were very grateful.

Because I did a thorough job collecting data, the director of the county police department praised me at the county police all-hands meeting: “He practices Falun Dafa and did a great job collecting the data. I’m rewarding him for his excellent work.” I won a round of applause.

Clarifying the Truth in Uniform

In 2009, I was transferred to a police station at the railroad and bus station, which was very busy during the Chinese New Year. I always wore my uniform on duty.

I often went to the passenger terminal where many passengers waited for buses and trains. When I was less busy, I chatted with the passengers and encouraged them to quit the CCP organizations. I helped many people withdraw from the CCP every day.

One time when I was clarifying the truth to the passengers, I saw someone checking his computer. I told him to check the words “Hidden Character Stone” on Baidu.com. He found the picture of the stone. I pointed out the words on the stone that read “The Chinese Communist Party (will) perish.” I asked them what it meant but they did not know. I said, “It means that heaven will eliminate the CCP. You should withdraw from the Party organizations and not die with it.” They all noticed my police uniform and smiled. Some of them immediately withdrew from the Party.

A few elderly people often came to the station as the station prepared hot water for passengers. They drank tea and chatted there. The oldest one was over 90. I chatted with them and gradually persuaded all of them to quit the CCP organizations.

There were a few officials in the station office. I persuaded all of them to withdraw from the CCP, too. One of them was reluctant to quit. I invited him out to eat and clarified the truth to him. Eventually he also withdrew from the CCP.

Master wants to save everyone in the world. I follow Master’s teachings and walk on the path of cultivating Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I also work diligently and came in first on the professional exam in the city’s public security system.

Thank you, compassionate Master, for teaching us the great Falun Dafa and bestowing us with Dafa’s infinite grace. I will practice diligently, cultivate well, and let more people understand the truth of Falun Dafa so they can have a wonderful future.
