Staying Unaffected During Tribulations While Saving Sentient Beings

(Minghui.org) Clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings are Dafa practitioners’ responsibilities. My daughter and I go to the streets, supermarkets, malls, and sometimes to far away places to tell people, face to face, the facts about Dafa. We are able to help a few dozen people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates each day.

Helping Master Rectify the Fa and Save Sentient Beings—Compassion and Majesty Coexist

Master told us,

“...Compassion is the Divine's eternal state...”(“Why Do You Reject It?” Hong Yin III)

I enlightened that compassion has its dignity too. One cannot let people commit crimes against Dafa practitioners and destroy themselves as a result.

I helped a dozen people quit the CCP and its affiliates one day last September. While I was recording names, a vicious-looking retired official appeared in front of me and said, “I have been watching you here for a long time. You’ve been here asking people to quit the CCP. You have talked with me too. Give me your phone number.”

Telling people the facts about Falun Dafa and asking them to quit the CCP is what Master asked us to do. It is the best and most righteous thing. No life is qualified to interfere with me. I sensed he was planning to report and arrest me. I said to him in a dignified tone, “What did you say? Say it one more time.” He backed off on hearing my words.

I told him, “Communism is a ghost from the West. We are descendants of Majestic Yan and Huang in China. Devoting your life to communism is a dead end. The Chinese Communist Party is a demon that destroys humanity. It has messed up 5000 years of Chinese traditional culture, and brainwashed and coerced people to cast out the divine, and pushes humans toward destruction. Nowadays, only quitting the CCP can save you, and reporting me to the police won't do you any good.”

He quickly came to his senses after hearing what I said, and asked me politely, “What should I do?” I said, “Just remember ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”

He asked me if I was paid to tell people the facts about Falun Dafa. I told him, “I would be punished by the heavens if I took money.” He was satisfied and left.

Released from the Police Station in Three Hours

My daughter and I went to a new residential building to distribute Dafa pamphlets. We split the pamphlets and she finished hers quickly. A guard stopped me on the other side of the building and asked if I had distributed the pamphlets. I said yes. He grabbed me and called the police.

I was arrested, taken to the police station, and locked in the basement. One officer came and wanted to record my name. I refused, and he got angry and left. The station head came and told me that they would release me if I told them my name. I did, but they did not quite hear it and asked me to say it again. I refused, and then a third officer came and asked me. I said, “Falun Dafa is good. Quitting the CCP is the only way to be safe.”

The station chief dragged me to a tiger bench in the basement and locked me up. I yelled, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Two young officers took photos of me with their cell phones and pretended to hit me. I kept yelling “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” until I was exhausted. They put down their cell phones and left. The station chief came and ordered me to sign my name, but I refused to.

I don’t know how long it was by the time another officer came down. He opened the lock and told me I could go. I was released from the tiger bench and the officer walked me out of the station. On my way home I thanked Master for his protection.

They Played the Shen Yun DVD in the Police Station

I took some talismans and a score of Shen Yun DVDs to distribute on New Year's Day. Even though only a few people were on the streets, I wished every one I met a happy new year, and then clarified the truth to them. People were happy to hear the truth, were willing to quit the CCP, and accept the DVDs and talismans.

The seventh person I met turned out to be a plainclothes police officer. He agreed with everything I said. We then separated and each of us went in opposite directions. But I noticed that he was following me. I knew something was wrong and tried to get on a bus. He quickly grabbed me. I told him it was not good for him, but he would not listen.

A police vehicle arrived quickly, and eight officers dragged me into it. I yelled, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” all the way to the police station.

I found none of the officers or the staff at the station were off for the holiday. They were all busy. An officer examined everything I had and took down my home phone number.

An officer said to me, “You are the first case this year.” I said that I had done nothing wrong, and I was bringing good fortune to people. I began walking toward the door.

A few officers dragged me to the yard and forced me to stand there in the snow. In the meantime, all the officers in the station began to play the Shen Yun DVDs they took from me.

A top official, the station chief, and supervisors all watched Shen Yun upstairs. The rest of the officers watched downstairs. The volume was turned very high and the music and singing of Shen Yun from both floors filled the atmosphere. I was very happy, as I recited Master’s lectures while standing in the wind and snow.

After some time the official called me in and asked me if the DVDs belonged to me. I said, “Yes.” He said I could go home then. I thanked him and told him he would be rewarded with good fortune. He laughed. I asked them to return my belongings. They returned everything including the list of people who had quit the CCP, and the talismans. The station chief walked me out of the station.

Dafa Posters Saved Police

I regularly go to the river bank to post Dafa posters because it is often crowded. People do exercises there in the morning and enjoy the breeze in the evenings.

I posted Dafa posters all along the river bank one morning. Soon after I walked off the bank to go home, eight officers appeared and yelled at me to stop. I didn't and asked them what was wrong. One officer asked what I posted. I told him it was “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He ordered me to tear all of them down. I refused, and he ordered me again.

I asked him, “Don’t you want people to be safe?” They could not come up with a good response, and after a while they said, “All right. We’ll let it pass. Don’t do it again.”

Many bystanders were around at the time. I took the opportunity to tell people the facts about Falun Dafa. One of them quit the CCP and its affiliates on the spot.

These past years, I learned that one should not have fear when telling people the facts about Falun Gong; just be a person who is completely for the good of others. Master said,

“Should you have fear,it will seize upon youIf thoughts are righteous,evil will collapse....”(“What’s to Fear,” Hong Yin II)

“I often say that if all a person wants is the well-being of others and if this is without the slightest personal motivation or personal understanding, what he says will move the listener to tears.” (“Clearheadedness,” Essentials for Further Advancement)

We are carrying out the most righteous acts in the cosmos, and Master is right next to us. As long as we act and think righteously and carry no attachments, there is nothing Master cannot help us accomplish.
