(Minghui.org) Since the communist regime launched the so-called “Zero-Out” harassment campaign last year to try to force every Falun Dafa practitioner on the government’s blacklist to renounce their faith, nearly 20 practitioners in my area have been arrested, had their homes raided, or were sentenced to prison.

We know that these practitioners have had problems with their Fa study and cultivation. Some of their problems have existed for many years and others were aware of them. However, these practitioners refused to change when their issues were pointed out.

After they were arrested, some of them said that we should not focus on their problems when they were already being persecuted. But I feel that we must understand that any problem that happens to a cultivator is related to our cultivation and that we shouldn’t just avoid the problem.

In fact, it is not the case with just the arrested practitioners. Quite a few other practitioners also have the same problem, that is, they just study the Fa without truly cultivating themselves.

Many practitioners attach great importance to participating in group Fa study, but they neglect their own Fa study at home, and some do not study the Fa at home at all. Some study the Fa every day, but they don’t use the Fa to guide their thoughts and deeds. When problems surface, they don’t look within and the problems exist for a long time.

Some pay a great deal of attention to reading Minghui sharing articles, but they just learn the techniques the articles suggest. Whenever they have problems, they look for articles about similar problems or share their situation with fellow practitioners. They mechanically look for certain formulas to solve problems, without knowing that the problems may appear similar on the surface, but the root causes are different for each individual.

I hope we can all come to deeper understandings of the Fa and improve together while truly cultivating ourselves.

This is my understanding at my level. Please point out any inadequacies.
