(Minghui.org) With Falun Dafa practitioners’ persistent efforts in raising awareness about the persecution of their faith, more and more Chinese people have voiced their support for Falun Dafa and condemned the suppression.
Below are a few stories submitted by practitioners from various regions of China.
Story 1: The “Truth Money” that Everyone Wants
Due to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) strict censorship of information in China, we’ve had to get creative about how to raise awareness of the persecution. One of the common methods has been to write our messages on paper money, especially on one-yuan, five-yuan, and ten-yuan bills.
The owner of a supermarket liked this “truth money” very much and she often traded for the bills with me. She noticed that after she began to use this truth money, her business got better. She believed that she was being blessed for supporting the innocent.
I once wanted to trade out my truth money at a large textile market with different vendors. In the beginning, nobody dared to trade for my bills.
I explained the situation to one vendor, and told her the story of the supermarket owner. She understood, but still looked a little concerned.
I asked her to give it a try anyway. I said that if people didn’t take the money, I would take it back.
A few months later, I visited the same vendor again. She told me that her business indeed picked up after she started using the truth money.
I encouraged her to share the information with other vendors, and told her that I appreciated her help in getting the message out.
Whenever I went to the market after that, she would holler to the other vendors: “The money exchanger’s here! Come get your bills!”
A vendor listened to my story and empathized with Dafa. She agree to quit the CCP, and actually started collecting the truth money as a keepsake. Another vendor said to me, “I just want the Falun Dafa money.”
As more and more people understand the facts about the persecution, they all like to exchange for truth money with me. Often, I’d go out with 8,000 yuan of truth money and come back with it all traded away. Some vendors would even shout “Falun Dafa is good!” whenever they saw me.
I once had to go through a security check on my way to deliver some of the truth money to someone. With the help of Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa), I was able to pass through the security check smoothly. When I arrived at our meeting place, the thundering sky was covered with dark clouds, but it didn’t rain at all—not even a drop.
Story 2: A Righteous Man
I went with a fellow practitioner to a local market to clarify the facts on September 14, 2022.
We met a man there who told us that he had already quit the CCP himself. He asked us if we could help one of his deceased family members do so as well. Of course, we agreed.
As the three of us were chatting, several people came over and asked for some of our booklets and decorative amulets, which contained the facts about Falun Dafa. One person commented that our amulets were very beautiful.
We urged these people to quit the CCP and recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” that were printed on the amulets.
The first man said to the others, “It’s all true, believe me! You’ll be blessed for quitting the Party and reciting the phrases.”
After we finished distributing our wares and were about to head home, the first man came up to us again. This time, he wanted to donate 100 yuan for us to make more booklets and amulets.
We thanked him and said we couldn’t take the money, but were very happy to see that people are now waking up to the truth.
Story 3: The Man with a Clear Mind
I met a man when I was talking to people in the park one morning. We started chatting for a bit, and soon we started talking about the negative situation of our society. I told him that the CCP was responsible for much of the instability.
“What you said is absolutely right,” he said to me. “The chaos in our society is all because of the CCP. Everyone knows it, we just don’t talk about it.”
I remarked that he had a great sense of justice, and encouraged him to quit the CCP with the nickname “clear-headed.” He readily agreed.
Story 4: Mother of Police Officer Quits the CCP
I met a hunchbacked woman while I was out clarifying the facts one day.
She told me that she was only in her 60s, but had many ailments. I told her about the health benefits of Falun Dafa, using myself as an example. Although I’m already in my 80s, I’m still full of energy, have glowing skin, and look like someone who’s only in her 50s.
I also told her about how the CCP has been persecuting Dafa and forcibly harvesting organs from detained practitioners.
The elderly woman told me that her son is a police officer. Although he never told her anything about his job, she could feel that he was doing something evil. His facial complexion, she said, was even contorted—it was as if he was always sneering at something.
She said to me, “I’m a member of the Chinese Communist Party. Can you please help me quit? I really appreciate that you’re telling me something so important.”
As she spoke, her hunched back suddenly straightened.
“Falun Dafa is so amazing!” she exclaimed.
Story 5: With My Family’s Support, the Police Chief Left
One day, a police chief led a number of officers to my home to arrest me. I refused to go with them, but kept telling them the facts about Dafa and how the CCP has been demonizing it.
My husband and child all stood with me and demanded that the police leave the house.
My sister-in-law also happened to pass by my house at this time. She rushed in upon seeing all the police outside.
She said to the police, “My sister-in-law is the best person. None of you will lay a finger on her today, or I’ll fight you myself.”
After a three-hour standoff, the police gave up and left.
