France: Locals Condemn Chinese Communist Regime at Events to Introduce Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held events at the Place d’Italie and Châtelet on September 25 and October 1, 2022. They clarified the truth and collected signatures on a petition to help end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 23-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa.

Practitioners set up information booths, and demonstrated the exercises. They told people about Falun Dafa and how the CCP persecutes practitioners. Many locals and tourists were shocked to learn about the atrocities. Some expressed interest in learning the exercises.

Ms. Lebris noticed practitioners’ event at Châtelet and learned about the persecution and the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced live organ harvesting. She was shocked and said, “This is outrageous! This persecution should have never happened.

“China is a country under tyranny. Information from the outside world is censored and Chinese people have no way of learning the truth, so few people know what is truly going on in the world. It is common sense for people to know something is wrong with a country if that country forbids a reporter to enter. It is also a pity that the Chinese people still believe in the CCP.”

She said that the Chinese people need to be awakened and that young Chinese people need to take action and stop this persecution.

Myriam Ouis is an artisan from Costa Rica. She said that everyone should abide by Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. “One should put these principles into action in their daily life and have more tolerance and compassion,” she said.

After signing the petition, she expressed her support. “We need to let these practitioners live freely! We need to fight for peace and freedom. You have my full support!”

Caroline, a preschool teacher, had three children with her. She was shocked when she heard the details of the persecution. She said that people should come together to face these atrocities.

She said, “This persecution is terrible. It is heartbreaking. It seems as if we have gone back in time to the Nazis and the concentration camps. I think the international community should take action and end this persecution immediately!

“Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are very important. People are lacking these principles nowadays. Technology and the Internet are making people impatient because of the need to be ‘faster.’ They have no time to pay attention to their shortcomings. Without compassion or tolerance, a person becomes lost. They are far what they truly are. They will seclude themselves and become lonely. This is very sad. You have my full support!”

Michelle, a physician who owns a clinic, said that she once lived under the rule of the Communist Party in Romania. She escaped the communist regime and immigrated overseas.

When she heard about the persecution, Michelle was moved to tears.

She said, “This is unbelievable. Communism stifles the mind and spiritual freedom. They enforce their orders and forbid people from living freely and peacefully. The communist regime strips away a person’s freedom, identity, sense of peace, and everything else. People become slaves under this kind of regime. People are afraid to speak out and think. This is large scale terrorism and no words can describe it. This is the most serious, rotten criminal system in the world. It should be eradicated by all countries.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
