Germany: People Condemn Decades-long Persecution of Falun Dafa—“The CCP is Carrying Out Genocide”

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities to introduce Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the ongoing persecution of the practice in China on Marienplatz in Munich, Germany, on September 1, 2021.

After reading the display boards about the persecution in China, a woman from the former East Germany said, “I cried when I saw these images.” Tanya, a biologist, said, “The plight of Falun Dafa practitioners in China is just like how Hitler treated the Jews. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is carrying out genocide. Most Germans now know that Falun Dafa practitioners are victims of the CCP’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting.”

Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises as part of their information day activities on Marienplatz in Munich on September 1.

Germans Should Stop Going to China for Organ Transplants

Brigit Blankenburg, a school principal who was persecuted by the communist regime in the former East Germany, was horrified to learn of the CCP’s crimes of forced organ harvesting.

School principal Ms. Brigit Blankenburg said she was lucky to escape from the former East Germany while it was under communist rule. She said that the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners reminded her of what she went through while living under communism.

After signing the petition to call for an end to the atrocities, she told practitioners, “I once saw a similar Falun Dafa activity. I burst into tears and left because I was so shocked by the images of the CCP torturing practitioners.”

She was seriously upset to learn that practitioners were subjected to such brutal torture in China simply because they live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. She said, “That is unbelievable! The CCP actually forbids people from following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The regime even takes a living person’s organs and sells them for profit. It is so terrible that the bodies of Falun Dafa practitioners are dissected while they are alive. It is inconceivable that the CCP treats people like that.”

Ms. Blankenburg thinks it is extremely important that practitioners hold such events, and said, “You should do this often and let everyone know the truth.”

She said, “I was detained by the East German National Security Department. I was persecuted, too. I think the CCP should release all Falun Dafa practitioners. Germans should not go to China to get an organ of any kind.”

She stayed for a long time after talking to practitioners and watched the exercise demonstration. Before leaving she said, “Just watching these exercises makes me feel relaxed. I can feel the energy and would like to learn it. I took some brochures and want to bring a friend to learn the exercises.”

Most Germans Know That Falun Dafa Practitioners are Victims of Organ Harvesting

As soon as Tanya, a local biologist, saw the words “Falun Dafa” on Marienplatz, she stopped and signed the petition. She said, “I heard about this organ harvesting before and saw a documentary about it. I want to help by signing my name. This is the very least people can do, isn’t it?”

She remarked that the CCP uses all kinds of different tactics to suppress practitioners. “The current plight of Falun Dafa practitioners in China is similar to Hitler’s treatment of the Jews. The CCP is carrying out genocide. Most Germans are now aware that Falun Dafa practitioners are victims of organ harvesting. This persecution must be stopped.”

Tanya was also drawn to the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded the practitioners doing the exercises. She said, “It feels wonderful. Here, people can find their true self by returning to their origin and obtain spiritual inspiration. If people can pass on such beautiful values of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance to future generations, humanity and society will improve—therefore I support Falun Dafa.” She wished practitioners success.

A German man who practiced Zen Buddhism for many years told practitioners he felt a powerful energy field when he stood in front of them. He asked for information on practice sites and said he plans to go to one and learn Falun Dafa.

A German scholar who is learning Chinese initially believed the CCP’s propaganda defaming Falun Dafa and thought that practitioners were lying. Practitioners explained to her what Falun Dafa is, why the CCP is persecuting the practice, and the facts about organ harvesting. She then said she had not known anything about Falun Dafa before and thanked practitioners for telling her the truth. She took a flier and said she would read it. She said, “Goodbye” in Chinese.
