Chinese Businessman Praises Falun Gong Practitioners' Efforts to Raise Awareness

(Minghui.org) We are living in unprecedented times. For many people, the outbreak of the pandemic was a disaster. There continues to be uncertainty in parts of the population about how to deal with the coronavirus, more and more people in China have become receptive to what Falun Gong practitioners have to say about staying safe and healthy. 

Practitioners inside and outside China have been telling people that breaking free from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will bring them blessings. As practitioners see it, the CCP has been using the same deceptive tactics in covering up the initial outbreak of the coronavirus in Wuhan that it has in persecuting Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, a mind-body practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. When it comes time for the CCP to be held responsible for its crimes against humanity, those that follow it will likely suffer consequences, too. Therefore, practitioners believe that quitting the CCP and its junior organizations will bring people a better future. 

Many practitioners outside China have also been calling people in China, explaining what Falun Gong is and debunking the CCP’s defamatory propaganda about the practice. This helped clear away their misconceptions about Falun Gong and led to them quitting the CCP and its junior organizations.

Successful Businessman: “What You Are Doing Is Great”

A major flood occurred in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, on July 20 this year claiming many lives. But the CCP covered up the disaster and there was very little media coverage. When practitioner Ms. Zhao from Toronto called a man in China about this, they talked for over 40 minutes. 

Upon hearing the crimes that the CCP committed against innocent people, including Falun Gong practitioners, the man said he was interested in quitting the Party. 

“I have never heard of these things before,” he said. “Could you help me quit the CCP?”

“Sure,” Ms. Zhao replied. “Please also keep in mind ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ This will benefit you for the long term.” 

The man agreed and shared his own story. He was a wealthy entrepreneur who donated more than one million yuan to help the victims of the flood in Henan Province.

Ms. Zhao praised him for being so kind.

The man opened up about his own miserable upbringing, losing both of his parents and grandparents, and how he managed to survive and build a successful business. 

Before ending the call, the man left his contact information to receive more information about Falun Gong. “Please keep in touch and send me more news. I really want to thank you because what you are doing is great and very meaningful,” he said.

A Depressed Young Man Encouraged by a Practitioners’ Advice

During another call, Ms. Zhao talked with a young man surnamed Wei for half an hour and helped him quit the CCP. When she told Wei he would be blessed, he was moved to tears. “I didn’t know I would be so lucky today,” he said. 

When asked why, he said he had been feeling very down. He lost his job and it was difficult to find one since his industry is not doing very well. Without any hope, he didn’t feel like living anymore. 

“Please do not think that way,” Ms. Zhao explained. She said it is normal to have ups and downs in one’s life. “We Chinese people believe in the divine. When one chooses to stay away from the vicious and follows his conscience, he will be helped by the divine.” She also reminded him to remember “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

The young man was touched. He wept and said, “I believe you. I know you must be a very good person.” 

Four Soldiers Quit the CCP 

Another young man listened quietly when Ms. Zhao explained how practitioners in China have been persecuted for their belief. The man then indicated that he was a soldier, so Ms. Zhao began to talk about how military hospitals have participated in the persecution against Falun Gong, especially forced organ harvesting. 

During the conversation, Ms. Zhao heard someone talking on the other end of the line. 

“We have four people here listening to you talking,” the young man said. 

Ms. Zhao told them that numerous investigations have uncovered evidence pointing to the forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience. In particular, the 301 Hospital in Beijing and some military hospitals have participated in the organ harvesting. 

The soldiers were all shocked, as they had not heard about this. When one is associated with such a sinister organization of the CCP, there could be serious consequences, Ms. Zhao explained. This is especially the case since everyone had vowed to devote their life to the Party upon joining it.

In the end, all four soldiers – three Party members and one Youth League member – agreed to quit the CCP. They thanked Ms. Zhao.
