1. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Lidong and Husband Mr. Song Yuewu Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Lidong and her husband Mr. Song Yuewu were arrested on November 16, 2019. It was recently reported that both were sentenced to three years in prison. They have been taken away from the detention center. It is not clear which prison they were taken to.

2. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Twelve Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Lingyuan City Domestic Security Division, the SWAT Team, and various police stations arrested 12 practitioners on June 11, 2021. The 12 practitioners are: Mr. Liu Jingrui, Ms. Cao Yueping (Liu’s wife), Mr. Wang Zhongxue, Ms. Wu Yanling (Wang’s wife), Ms. Liu Ruifen, Zhang Kunshan (gender unknown), Ms. Zhou Yajuan, Ms. Yu Shufen, Li Xiuchun (gender unknown), Ms. Liu Sulan, Li Jing (gender unknown), and Ms. Tian Na.

Among them, Ms. Liu Ruifen was officially placed under arrest.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Fourteen Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Fourteen practitioners were sentenced to seven to nine years in prison and fined 3,000 to 5,000 yuan by the Lishu County Court in Siping City on February 26, 2021. After they appealed, the original verdicts were upheld by the Siping Intermediate Court on April 30, 2021.

Mr. Meng Fanjun, Mr. Han Jianping, Mr. Tan Qiucheng, and Mr. Wang Kemin were taken to the No. 9 Ward of Jilin No. 2 Prison on May 21, 2021. They had to sit on the board every day and were forced to undergo “transformation.” If they did not transform, they would not be allowed to call their family members.

Ms. Fu Guihua, Ms. Yu Jianli, Ms. Wang Fengzhi, Ms. Liu Dongying, Ms. Cui Guixian, and Ms. Zhang Shaoping were taken to the Jilin Province Women’s Prison on May 27, 2021. They were placed under strict control and held on the first floor of the No. 8 Ward. They were made to sit on small stools every day. They were not allowed to purchase daily necessities (like soap or toothpaste), were not allowed to call their families, and were not allowed to meet with their family members or lawyers. When a family member made phone calls to the first floor of the No. 8 Ward, the person who answered the phone pretended that the signal was poor and hung up the phone. When the family member called again, someone picked up the phone but did not speak.

Mr. Meng Xiangqi, Mr. Wang Dongji, Mr. Jiang Tao, and Mr. Hou Hongqing were taken to the No. 9 Ward in Gongzhuling Prison on June 3, 2021. Their family members asked to visit them. Li Kai, squadron leader of the ward, said, “With the ongoing pandemic, family members cannot come to visit unless they have received notification.”

4. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lifang and Ms. Zhang Junqin Sentenced to Prison

It was recently reported that Ms. Zhang Lifang and Ms. Zhang Junqin were each sentenced to three years in prison in 2020. After the two practitioners appealed the sentence, the second instance ended at the end of 2020 and the original sentences were upheld. Both practitioners were taken to the Ningxia Women’s Prison.

5. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Luo Zhiyin Held in Custody for Over 22 Months

Mr. Luo Zhiyin was arrested at work by officers from the Huaqiangbei Police Station in the Futian District on the morning of September 26, 2019. He has been held in the Nanshan District Detention Center for one year and ten months. During this period, his family has been harassed and threatened several times by residential officers and Fuhua Community Management personnel.

Due to the pandemic, the Nanshan Court and Nanshan Procuratorate originally planned to hold a video hearing in August 2020. After Mr. Luo’s lawyer filed a complaint and Mr. Luo himself refused, the judge immediately agreed to cancel the hearing.

The police officers who handled Mr. Luo’s case resorted to violence when gathering evidence. They beat and intimidated Mr. Luo, and falsified paperwork. When bringing up charges against Mr. Luo, prosecutor Gao Zhan turned a blind eye to police violence and falsification when gathering and producing evidence. So far, the authorities have not given any reasonable or lawful response to inquiries by Mr. Luo’s family.

6. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested; Some Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked

Ms. Ye Baoxia was arrested on January 3, 2021 for refusing to sign the three statements. She was detained for seven days.

Mr. Li Haijun was arrested by officers from the Shengli Road Police Station around 8 p.m. on March 5. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated calendars, printed materials, and a cell phone. Mr. Li was taken to the Qingfeng Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Yulan was arrested and her home was ransacked by Chen Shunjiang, a team leader of the Zhongyuan Oilfield Domestic Security Division, and others in early May. She was released a few days later. The officers tracked down practitioners based on phone numbers found in Ms. Xu’s cell phone to ransack their homes.

Mr. Zhang Jinrong was sentenced to five years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan by the Hualong District Court on May 6. Ms. Wu Baolan was sentenced to one year in prison and fined 1,000 yuan on May 6.

Ms. Chu Meiran’s home was ransacked by people led by Sang Hu, member of the Zhongyuan Oilfield 610 Office, on the afternoon of May 11.

Ms. Zhang Guizhen’s home was ransacked by Sang Hu and others on May 12. Sang asked whether the Falun Gong materials found at her home were provided by Ms. Xu Yulan.

Sang Hu and others also ransacked the home of Huang Fuhe (gender unknown) on May 12.

Chen Shunjiang, Sang Hu, and others also ransacked the homes of practitioners Wang Xinzhou, Chen Gang, Wu Junlan, and Zhou Xiulan.

7. [Beijing] Eleven Practitioners Arrested; Family Members Harassed

Mr. Li Zongze’s case was turned over to the procuratorate and the court. His family and relatives submitted the legal paperwork for relatives and friends to defend him in accordance with the law. Subsequently, prosecutors and judges abused their powers and prevented Mr. Li’s family member from reading the case files or meeting with him. Mr. Li’s family member checked with courts at all levels and asked them when the legal paperwork for defending Mr. Li would go through, but no one in the court gave an answer. So far, the court has not granted Mr. Li’s family member access to the case files.

On June 17, Mr. Li’s family member went out of town and was intercepted by several officers at the station, and was carefully questioned and thoroughly checked. During interrogation, a crowd gathered around Mr. Li’s family member and took pictures with their cell phones.

8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Several officers from the Nanjin Road Police Station broke into Ms. Qi Xiulan’s home in late January and mid-March 2021. They photographed her and rummaged through her home, looking for printed materials.

Bao Chunyan from the Tiangong Road Community Management Office and three other people broke into Ms. Qi’s home on May 10, questioned her, and photographed her.

Four officers from the Nanjin Road Police Station went to Ms. Qi’s home again at 10:30 a.m. on May 18. They were very rude and asked if she still practiced Falun Gong. They threatened, “If you still practice, we will arrest you.” They also told her not to go outside to tell people about Falun Gong or to distribute Falun Gong materials.

Four people, including Li and Tang, from the Nanjin Road Sub-district Administration Office, and Bao Chunyan, from the Tiangong Road Community Management Office, went to harass Ms. Qi again around 10 a.m. on May 28. They told her not to go out to distribute Falun Gong materials, and that if she wanted to do the Falun Gong exercises, she should do them at home.

Mr. Ju Shixin from Yongxing Town, Chuanshan District was repeatedly harassed over the phone and at home. Officials told him to sign paperwork. They threatened that if he did not sign, his pension payment would be reduced, and it would affect the future of his children and grandchildren.

Five people, including a community management staff member and police officers, knocked on the door of Mr. Duan Jiyong’s home around 3 p.m. on June 9. Mr. Duan clarified the truth to them and blocked the doorway to prevent them from entering his home. The five people did not listen to him at all, rudely pushed him aside, forcibly entered his home and searched each room.

9. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Harassed

Recently, many practitioners in Chengshan Town, Rongcheng City, were harassed by the local police and their homes were ransacked.

The practitioners whose homes were searched are: Ge Zengzhen, Cong Peijun, Guo Chunhong, Hu Ruxiu, Wang Fuqing, Wang Fuli, Zhou Shumin, and Wang Wenxia. The officers confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and Minghui Weekly.

Other practitioners who were harassed include: Ning Shijiang, Li Shuying, Yao Ruirong, Li Xiu, Yuan Xiaojing, Tang Funa, and Wang Yuna.

The homes of some 80-year-old practitioners were ransacked at night and the police officers treated these elderly practitioners rudely.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Jiamin Held in Detention Center

Officer Wei from the Siwei Road Police Station returned Mr. Yang Jiamin’s keys and national ID card to his family, and handed over Mr. Yang’s cell phone and computer to the Jiang’an District Police Department for inspection. A notice of officially placing him under arrest was issued on June 18. Mr. Yang has been held in the Jiang’an District Detention Center.

11. [Huzhu County, Qinghai Province] Mr. Liu Yongxiu Arrested

Mr. Liu Yongxiu, 77, was arrested at home by officers from the Huzhu County Domestic Security Division on June 25, 2021. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a laptop and Falun Dafa books. Mr. Liu was transferred to the Huzhu County Detention Center on June 26.

12. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lanqin Harassed

Four staff members from the community management office went to Ms. Zhang Lanqin’s home on May 17, 2021. They pressured her to sign a piece of paper related to “guiding public opinion” and another related to “avoiding being deceived,” which she refused. They threatened her, “If you don’t sign, we will call the police station and tell them to arrest you.” Ms. Zhang signed the two sheets under pressure.

13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xie Yuqiang Arrested

Ms. Xie Yuqiang, 69, from the Huishan Economic Development Zone, Shenbei New District, was heading back to her hometown around June 1, 2021. While she was at the Shenyang North Railway Station, she was found to be carrying Falun Gong materials. She was later released.

Ms. Xie was arrested at home on June 22. It was reported that she was detained.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qin Xiaoli Arrested

When Ms. Qin Xiaoli went to repair a printer that she used at her job at around 2 p.m. on May 18, 2021, she was arrested and taken to the Chengguan Police Station by five or six plainclothes officers. Later, police officers ransacked her home, and confiscated two laptops and one printer.

15. [Tianjin] Three Practitioners Held in Detention Center

Ms. Wang Suzhi, female practitioner Mingming, and Mingming’s aunt from Jizhou District were arrested around January 2021 and held in the Jizhou District Detention Center.

16. [Shanwei City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Yan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yan was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on the evening of June 18, 2021. She was arrested on the street around 9 p.m. that night by officers from the Henan Police Station, Luhe County. The officers ransacked her home. Late that night, her family demanded the officers to release her. The officers told them that she would be detained for 15 days.

17. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gong Chengge Arrested

On the morning of June 10, 2021, when Mr. Gong Chengge, a former teacher of the No. 2 Middle School, went downstairs at his home in the Gongshang Residential Community, Dong’an District, he was arrested by the community management staff and police. He was released that day. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a computer worth nearly 10,000 yuan for use in education, a printer, a tablet, and a cell phone. The police have not returned these items.

18. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Mr. Lin Dingguang’s Home Ransacked

Seven officers from the Chengguan Police Station, Yongtai County, led by section police officer Liu Hua, ransacked the home of Mr. Lin Dingguang and his wife Ms. Fan Juanming around 10:50 a.m. on June 25, 2021. They searched the place thoroughly and photographed it. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and 78 Falun Gong informational booklets.

19. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Qi Xiaoyun and Ms. Bai E Arrested

Ms. Qi Xiaoyun, around 50, and Ms. Bai E, in her 70s, were arrested at their homes by officers from the Guangming Road Police Station on the evening of June 19, 2021. Both practitioners are being held in the Ruzhou Detention Center.

20. [Beijing] Mr. Tan Shouli Monitored Around the Clock

Mr. Tan Shouli was repeatedly harassed by officers from the Heping Street Police Station in the Chaoyang District since June 2021. Now, someone is stationed outside the door of his home and watching him around the clock.

21. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Ping Harassed

The 610 Office personnel of the Beixinqiao Sub-district, Dongcheng District, and officers from the Beixinqiao Police Station continued to harass Ms. Zhao Ping since June 14, 2021, even when her husband was hospitalized. The day after her husband was discharged from the hospital and returned home, these people broke in and ransacked the couple’s home in the Tongzhou District, ignoring Ms. Zhao’s husband’s serious condition.

22. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhong Falan Held in Detention Center

Ms. Zhong Falan from the Mizhou Sub-district was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on Heping Street on June 21, 2021. She was arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station. She was taken to the Zhucheng City Detention Center the following day.

23. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yin Baoqin Harassed

Three police officers led by the Party secretary Yang Zhaowen of Yonghe Village, Handian Town, knocked on the door at Ms. Yin Baoqin’s home after 9 p.m. around April 10, 2021.

They asked her when she started practicing Falun Gong and why she practiced Falun Gong. In the end, they forcibly took away photos of the founder of Falun Gong as well as an MP5 player.

24. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Liao Jintao Arrested

Liao Jintao (gender unknown) was arrested on June 24, 2021.

25. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Heng Xiangxiang Arrested

Ms. Heng Xiangxiang was arrested on June 24, 2021. The police ransacked her home that evening and confiscated a laptop and a printer.

26. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Huo Xiuhua Held in Detention Center

Huo Xiuhua (gender unknown) from the Xianghaimingzhu Residential Community, Rongxing Town, was caught on surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials in the community on June 8, 2021. She was arrested and has been held in the detention center.

27. [Tianjin] Shan Yuxin and Lin Dexiang Arrested

Shan Yuxin (gender unknown) and Ms. Lin Dexiang from Jiangwakou Village, Ninghe Town, Ninghe District, were arrested by officers from the Ninghe Town Police Station on June 17, 2021. It was reported that Ms. Lin was detained for 15 days. Shan was placed under residential surveillance, and an eavesdropping device was installed in Shan’s home.

28. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Xu Zhengfen Arrested

Xu Zhengfen (gender unknown) was arrested on the afternoon of June 26, 2021. Xu’s current whereabouts are unknown.

29. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Lihong Arrested

Officers from the Fulai Police Station, Economic and Technological Development Zone went to Ms. Zhao Lihong’s rented home. They said that after she was arrested on April 11, 2020, the 10-day administrative detention was not carried out because of the pandemic, and now it was time to enforce it. They asked her to take the initiative to go to the police station on June 19, 2021 and serve 10 days of detention.

Ms. Zhao went to the police station on June 19, and was detained. Further details are unknown.

30. [Changzhi City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Yuqin Taken to Brainwashing Center

Jia Jianping, the deputy secretary of the Luzhou District Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and four others went to Ms. Zhang Yuqin’s home on January 5, 2021. They did not show any ID cards or badges and questioned her if she still practiced Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang told them that she benefited a lot physically from practicing Falun Gong.

The following afternoon, people from the community management office and the sub-district administration office forcibly took Ms. Zhang to the brainwashing center. Jia Jianping and Wang were responsible for transforming Ms. Zhang. They threatened to cancel her child’s low-rent housing, suspend her pension, and send her to prison. Ms. Zhang was forced to sign some paperwork. After returning home, she felt most regretful and sad. The mental devastation in the brainwashing center caused her great harm, and her physical condition deteriorated after returning home.

31. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Peng Yaomei and Liu Dequn Arrested

Ms. Peng Yaomei from Honghuagang District was arrested on the street on June 17, 2021. No further information is available at this time.

Liu Dequn (gender unknown) from Honghuagang District was arrested by officers from the Laocheng Police Station on June 22. Liu’s home was ransacked.

32. [Changzhi City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Ruling Arrested

Ms. Wang Ruling, 76, was arrested at home by officers from the Luzhou District Domestic Security Division at 12 a.m. on June 15, 2021. The officers ransacked her home. She was held in the Luzhou District Detention Center.

33. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guo Dianhui Harassed

Mr. Guo Dianhui originally lived in Minquan Village, Minle Township, Baiquan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2003, his family went to Shenyang City, Liaoning Province to do business and settled there.

Since 2019, Mr. Guo’s family has been repeatedly harassed by Qiqihar City police. In August 2019, director Wang of the Minle Township Police Station and Yu Chunyun, secretary of the Minquan Village, and a group of people went to the marketplace where Mr. Guo’s store was located. They posed as buyers and looked for Mr. Guo from door to door. After finding him, they photographed him and asked for his cell phone number.

Yu Chunyun, former Party secretary of Minquan Brigade, and others from Heilongjiang Province, once again harassed Mr. Guo in Liaoning Province in June, 2021 and pressured him to sign the “five statements” renouncing Falun Gong. They said that if he signed the five statements, they would remove his name from the list compiled by the CCP and threatened that if he did not sign, it would affect his children’s future. Mr. Guo refused to sign the statements. The secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee said that if he did not sign, they would report to their superiors.

On June 22, 2021, director Wang of the Minle Township Police Station and another officer went to Mr. Gao’s store again. They entered the store through the back door and secretly videotaped his wife. After they were spotted, Mr. Gao’s wife demanded that they immediately delete the video. They left after deleting the video.

On June 23, 2021, residential officer Hong Jun, from the Gongrencun Police Station, and a female Party secretary of the Zhuanggong Street Community, in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, coaxed Mr. Guo’s wife into going to the community office via officials in charge of the marketplace. They videotaped her at the community office.

34. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Hengxiu Arrested

Officers pried open the door of 65-year-old Ms. Chen Hengxiu’s home in Fenghuang Village, Zhuhui District, at 5 a.m. on June 13, 2021. Without giving any reason, these people forcibly measured her blood pressure. She refused to cooperate. Several people in black uniforms with the word “SWAT” printed on the back dragged her into the police vehicle and drove away.

The officers subsequently ransacked Ms. Chen’s home and confiscated Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a computer, U discs, a cell phone, a printer, a laminating machine, a paper cutter, ziplock bags, an audio player, a DVD player, DVDs, a pair of scissors, a dictionary, cultivation experience sharing manuscripts, blank notebooks, and a stack of letter sized paper.

These people took her to the Hengyang People’s Hospital and carried out a comprehensive physical examination, including blood tests, urine tests, liver and heart examinations, and a full body fluoroscopy.

The officers were furious because Ms. Chen refused to sign paperwork. They handcuffed her, and took her to the police station for interrogation. Her feet, hands, and body were all tied to an iron chair. She was interrogated until 3 a.m. before she was allowed to go to sleep. During the interrogation, the officers said, “We know exactly where you have been and who has contacted you.” They also took out their cell phones to play a recording of the phone conversation between Ms. Chen and another person. The next day, the interrogation resumed, and it lasted until after 11 a.m. before she was released on bail and brought home.

35. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Zhou Qing Harassed

Recently, three unidentified people from the Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, went to Mr. Zhou Qing’s hometown in Luodian Town, Jingshan County, Hubei Province, to dig out information on him. They even located his 80-year-old mother.
