1. [Dachang County, Hebei Province] Cases Against Ms. Yang Shufang and Ms. Zhang Guizhen Submitted to Procuratorate

Ms. Yang Shufang and Ms. Zhang Guizhen were informed by the Xianghe County Procuratorate on June 29, 2021 that their cases were submitted to the procuratorate.

Ms. Yang, 68, and Ms. Zhang were reported to police for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in Mafangding Village of Qianwang Town, Xianghe County. They were arrested by officers from the Qianwang Town Police Station on October 10, 2020. Their homes ware ransacked. They were placed under 15-day administration detention.

Ms. Yang’s detention was “executed outside” because of her health. Ms. Zhang was detained 15 days in the Xianghe County Detention Center. On October 25, 2021, she was transferred to the Sanhe County Detention Center by Yang Yongli, head of the Sanhe County Domestic Security Division. However, she was denied admission because she failed the physical examination twice. She was released.

2. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Luo Xinping and Ms. Shan Jining Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Luo Xinping and Ms. Shan Jining were sentenced to four years in prison and were taken to prison on June 22, 2021.

Ms. Luo Xinping, 66, was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong in a small store and was arrested by officers from the Xingqing District Police Department on August 18, 2020. She was tried online by the Xixia District Court on January 12, 2021.

Ms. Shan Jining, 54, was arrested by officers from the Jinfeng District Police Department on August 23, 2020. She was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan by the Xixia District Court on February 25, 2021.

3. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Limin Imprisoned

Ms. Zhang Limin was arrested on May 23, 2019. She was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 15,000 yuan by the Huanren County Court on September 4, 2020. She was taken to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on June 29, 2021.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Shuying Harassed

Ms. Li Shying was harassed at her barber shop by police officers on June 24, 2021. They asked whether she still practiced Falun Gong. She said yes. The officers photographed her and every room in her shop.

5. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Zhenfang Harassed

Ms. Wu Zhenfang lives in Shenjingbao Village, Kongjiazhuang Town, Wanquan District. Her son-in-law received a harassing phone call from officer Du Dengyun on May 21, 2021. Du Dengyun wanted to meet Ms. Wu and pressure her to give up practicing Falun Gong.

Du Dengyun and other officers went to the home of Ms. Wu’s daughter on the morning of June 24, 2021. They tried to videotape Ms. Wu, but she did not cooperate.

Ms. Wu's husband was videotaped at his workplace by village official Zhao Runjun.

6. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Nine Practitioners Harassed

Many practitioners have been harassed by officers from different police stations around May 13, 2021 and before July 1, 2021. They are Wu Wenjuan, Wu Wenhua, Huang Zhanxiong, Cai Yonghua, Xie Huiliang, Wu Rongduan, Peizhen, and Yao Jingjiao.

Ms. Yao Jingjiao was arrested and taken to local police station twice. The couplet inside her home was torn down.

Ms. Peizhen in her 70s was arrested in mid-June because the surveillance camera across from her house recorded practitioner Ms. Yao Jingjiao visiting her. Both of them were arrested. Her home was ransacked. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Wu Rongduan was harassed at home by officers from the Ronghua Police Station on May 13, 2021 and before July 1, 2021. She was pressured to sign the three statements. The officers took 200 yuan from her.

7. [Leiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Shiqing Harassed at Railway Station

When Mr. Liu Shiqing traveled via high-speed train and waited to transfer inside the waiting room in Jieyang City Railway Station on June 28, 2021, several railway officers walked directly toward him and checked his ID. He was taken to the security guard room and his bags were searched carefully. His teaching materials were checked page by page. The paper bills from his wallet were looked at the front and back one by one. When the Dafa books were found in his e-book reader, he was taken to the railway police station and interrogated for more than one hour before he was allowed to leave.

8. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiumei Harassed Multiple Times

Ms. Li Xiumei works in the central blood bank of Linyi City. She was harassed multiple times between December 2020 to July 1, 2021.

Ms. Li Xiumei was pressured multiple times to write a guarantee statement at her workplace in mid-December under the instigation of Lanshan District 610 Office.

A government document was issued by the Lanshan District Political and Legal Affairs Committee in mid-April 2021 that a brainwashing center would be set up for those who refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Li was named but she refused to cooperate.

Three officers from the Yinqueshan Police Station in Lanshan District went to Ms. Li’s home on June 2, 2021. Ms. Li did not open the door for them.

A person in charge in Ms. Li’s workplace must meet her every day and report her situation to a higher authority during the week before July 1, 2021, a CCP holiday.

9. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuxian Arrested and Detained

Ms. Yang Shuxian was arrested at home at the beginning of June 2021 because she wrote a letter to the head of the Yuguan Town Police Station. She used her real name and advised the person to stop persecuting practitioners and treat them kindly. She was detained 10 days in the Qinhuangdao Detention House.

10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Fei Arrested and Detained

Mr. Ma Fei from the Jiuzhan Economic Development Zone in Changyi District was arrested by three officers from the Jiuzhan Police Station on the evening of June 15, 2021. His Dafa books and photo of Falun Gong's founder were confiscated. Mr. Ma was detained for 15 days.

11. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Huang Xianfa Harassed

Mr. Huang Xianfa was harassed at home by two officers from the Yong’an Township Police Station including Mao Yifei on June 16, 2021. Mr. Huang was questioned if he still practiced Falun Gong, while the officer videotaped him with his cell phone.

12. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Li Xiaopeng Harassed

Mr. Li Xiaopeng was harassed at home by officers from the Laojunying Police Station in the Yingze District on May 27, 2021. He was pressured to sign the three statements. The officer even offered to sign on his behalf, which he refused.

13. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Hui Jinlan Harassed Repeatedly

Ms. Hui Jinlan from Zhuwangbao Town was harassed at her son’s home by officers from the Jinchuan Road Police Station on June 1, 2021. She was harassed again by staff from the Wenli Community Office on June 5, 2021. On June 8, 2021, three people including the town director Su and village official Wang went to harass her. Four people including Ye, head of the Zhuwangbao Town Police Station, the director Yang and Su from the town political and legal affair committee, went to harass her on June 21, 2021.

The stress from repeated harassment led to health problems for Ms. Hui. When her son took her to a hospital on the morning of June 23, 2021, she was diagnosed with chronic renal failure. Just after she returned home that afternoon, the town director Yang and the village official Wang came to harass her again.

Ms. Hui was harassed at home again by town directors Yang and Su on June 24, 2021. The next day, three people including the director Yang went to her home again. Half an hour later, another group of people from the town government came. Ms. Hui refused to sign a guarantee statement no matter how they pressured her.

14. [Tianjin] Ms. Jia Mantao's Pension Suspended

Ms. Jia Mantao's pension has been suspended by the Hexi District Social Security Bureau since December 2020. She was not informed ahead of time when it happened. After inquiry, her family learned that up to 122,820 yuan would be deducted from her pension according to her prison term. Ms. Jia was imprisoned from July 2013 to August 2016 because of her faith in Falun Gong.

15. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Fengyan and Ms. Dong Guihuan Harassed

Ms. Liu Fengyan from Xige Town of Fengnan District was harassed at home by three officers from the Xige Town Police Station on the morning of May 26, 2021. The officers questioned whether she still practiced Falun Gong. They also went to harass Ms. Dong Guihuan in the same village.

16. [Longchang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Ziming and He Xinqi Arrested

Several practitioners including Mr. Yu Ziming and He Xinqi (gender unknown) were arrested on June 29, 2021.

17. [Shanghai] Ms. Guan Longmei Harassed Repeatedly

Ms. Guan Longmei lives in Caolu Town in Pudong New District. She was tricked by a local officer and went to the Caolu Town Police Station on June 8, 2021. Several people including those from the district political and legal affairs committee talked to her there.

Two people knocked on her door on June 12, 2021.

Seven people from the comprehensive management office of the political and legal affairs committee went to her home on the afternoon of June 16, 2021. Ms. Guan had requested the social security bureau to return the money deducted from her pension. They claimed she should start from the local residential office first. Later her younger brother started to receive harassing calls from officers in the Caolu Town Police Station.

Ms. Guan was placed under 24-hour surveillance since June 29, 2021, which seriously disrupted her family’s normal life.

18. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Nie Junhua Arrested

Ms. Nie Junhua, nearly 70, was arrested in Xingyang City by six officers around 4 p.m., June 27, 2021 when she was out.

19. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] 88-year-old Ms. Zhang Guiqing Harassed

Several people from the North Street Community and the Binjiang Sub-district Office went to harass 88-year-old Ms. Zhang Guiqing on May 19, 2021. Ms. Zhang did not open the door. They tried to call Ms. Zhang’s family members but were not able to reach anyone. They returned that evening and knocked on the door.

20. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] 80-year-old Ms. Yang Yunqing's Pension Suspended

Ms. Yang Yunqing, 80, from the Heping Village has had her pension suspended since September 2020.

Ms. Yang was harassed at home by the village official Liu Sunqiang and an officer from the Chengxi Police Station in September 2020. Her son was harassed at his home as well and was threatened that he and his son would lose their jobs.

21. [Xiji County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Wang Junrui was harassed at her home in Yinchuan City in February 2021. Four people including the head of the Jiqiang Town Political and Legal Affairs Committee and three officers from the Jiqiang Town Police Station went to Yinchuan City and pressured Ms. Wang to sign the five statements, which she refused. Ms. Wang was harassed again by officers from the Xiji County Domestic Security Division in May 2021.

Ms. Zhang Jiuxiang and Mr. Pan Yiyuan received harassing calls from officer Wu Yahui from the Desheng Police Station in April 2021.

Ms. Zhang Jiuxiang was harassed at home by three people including Tang Hong from the Helan County 610 Office and officer Wu Yahui on May 11, 2021.

Mr. Pan Yiyuan was harassed at his workplace by Tang Hong and Wu Yahui on June 18, 2021.

Ms. Zhang Jiuxiang was harassed at home again by Wu Yahui and two staff members from the local community office on June 29, 2021. They also made a harassing call to Mr. Pan Yiyuan.

22. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Liu Meilan Detained in a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Liu Meilan was stopped by railway police at Hankou Railway Station when she went through the security checkpoint with her residential ID on June 18, 2021. They searched her and found some paper bills imprinted with messages about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center at No. 132, Ya’an Street, Nanhu District by officer Zhou from the Shuiguohu Police Station at 2 a.m. the next day. She has been detained there since then.

23. [Anda City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ding Shuzhen, 75, and Ms. Li Yanzhen were arrested on the morning of June 19, 2021 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Ding was detained in a detention center and Ms. Li was detained in a detention house. Ms. Ding’s home was ransacked and her laptop and Dafa books were confiscated.

Mr. Chen Chunlin was taken to local police station by police on June 22, 2021 and was directly placed under 15-day detention without any explanations.

Ms. Sui Xiufang was arrested on the morning of July 3, 2021 and was placed under 15-day detention. Ms. Ha Yujie was also arrested. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

24. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xu Changmei Arrested and Detained

Ms. Xu Changmei from Liubao Village of Zhonghe Town was arrested at the home of a patient she cared for in the Cuiyuan Community, Heping Street on July 1, 2021. She was placed under 15-day detention and is currently detained in the Meihekou City Detention Center.

25. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Xu Guixiang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Xu Guixiang from Zhuwangbao Town was detained for more than 30 days before she was released on bail pending trial on June 24, 2021.

26. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Liwei Arrested

Mr. Wang Liwei from Gaomingtai of Tiexi District was arrested by officers from the Wusan Police Station in Hunnan District on June 23, 2021 for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. His family paid 5,000 yuan to bail her out. He was released on bail pending trial.

27. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners including Mr. Liu Zhaoqing, Sun Peiying (gender unknown), Ms. Ma Shuyan, Ms. Chi Guilan, and Ms. Chen Xiulan, were arrested by patrol officers on June 29, 2021. They were taken to the Zhujie Domestic Security Division for interrogation. Their homes were ransacked in the afternoon. Their Dafa books and photo of Falun Gong's founder were found in the homes of Ms. Chi Guilan and Ms. Chen Xiulan. Nothing was found in the homes of Ms. Ma Shuyan and Sun Peiying.

The five practitioners were forced to sit in metal chairs and interrogated for two days. They were taken to the Minsheng Hospital for a nucleic acid test on the third day and were interrogated again at the Xinhua Road Police Station.

On the fourth day, they were taken for a physical examination at a local community hospital and then taken to the Changyi Detention House in the afternoon. Sun Peiying and Mr. Liu Zhaoqing were admitted; Ms. Ma Shuyan, Ms. Chen Xiulan, and Ms. Chi Guilan were denied admission because of their health. Three practitioners were taken back to Zhucheng City. Their family members were told to deposit 10,000 yuan for each to bail them out. They were released on bail pending trial on July 2, 2021.

28. [Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Dongmei Arrested and Detained

Ms. Liu Dongmei was reported to police for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on June 2, 2021. Officers from the Suifenhe City Domestic Security Division including Lin Mingjian went to her home on the morning of June 10, 2021. They ransacked her home and confiscated 10 Dafa books, 60 booklets, one computer, one media player, one e-book, a MP4 player, 3 USB drives, and other items. Ms. Liu was arrested and detained 15 days.

29. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ji Suffers Stroke

The home of the elderly Ms. Ji was ransacked by officers from the Nanjing Police Station on June 16, 2021. All of her Dafa books were confiscated. She was threatened with arrest. Now, Ms. Ji shows symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage (stroke) and has difficulty moving around.

30. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhu Wenxian Arrested

Ms. Zhu Wenxian from the Weifang Xincun Residential District of the Pudong District was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested by officers from the Tangqiao Police Station on the morning of May 30, 2021. She was later transferred to the Weifang Police Station and released around 7 p.m. that day. She was under surveillance after she was released. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

31. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] 10 Practitioners Arrested and Detained

Nine practitioners from the Xindu District were arrested at a house by armed police around 6 a.m., May 12, 2021. Four of them including Su Qinghua, Peng Shangen, Lin Xiaoquan, and Liu Senrong, have been released recently. The other five, Liu Guohua, Xie Shiying, Zhou Yuxiu, Zhang Xunju, and Huang Huaizhou, are still detained. Li Yun who was arrested on April 25, is also detained.

32. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Zhanghe Arrested and Detained.

Mr. Zhao Zhanghe was arrested at home around June 20, 2021. His home was ransacked. He was released around July 1, 2021.

33. [Shanghai] Mr. Wang in His 90s Followed

Mr. Wang, in his 90s, lives alone in Anting Town, Jiading District. His wife passed away long ago, and his children do not live nearby. Mr. Wang has been practicing Falun Gong for more than 20 years and is in good health.

A few days before the CCP's centenary on July 1, 2021, a man began following him everywhere and every day. Mr. Wang called his son. His son came and called the police. When the man was questioned by the police, the man simply said that Mr. Wang was a Falun Gong practitioner. The police let the man go.
