Netherlands: Falun Dafa Practitioners Participate in King’s Day Celebrations

(Minghui.org) April 27, 2021 is King’s Day in the Netherlands. Even though the pandemic is not over, many people came out to enjoy the warm spring sunshine and strolled through Dam Square wearing clothing adorned with the Netherlands' orange logo.

Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate in the celebrations. Their booth, located in the center of Dam Square, was approved by the city government. Several passersby stopped to learn about Falun Dafa and how the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is persecuting this traditional spiritual practice. As part of their activities, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, distributed information about Dafa and the persecution, and collected signatures on a petition to end the persecution.

People were happy to receive exquisite little folded paper lotus flowers practitioners offered as a meaningful gift on King’s Day.

Practitioners participated in King’s Day on April 27, 2021, and introduced Falun Dafa to people.

Passersby were attracted to the soothing music as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Practitioners distributed informational materials, told people about the goodness of Dafa, and how the CCP conducts forced organ harvesting from practitioners while they are still alive.

Many people expressed their concern when they learned about the organ harvesting and signed the petition to end the atrocity. They were shocked and said, “This is terrible!” After talking with practitioners, Mr. Cagatay said, “Freedom of belief, everyone should possess it.”

After watching the exercise demonstration, several people said they wanted to learn. Practitioners gave them leaflets with information about Falun Dafa and the practice site in Amsterdam.

One Chinese person withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations after talking with practitioners.
