(Minghui.org) Several Falun Gong information booths were recently vandalized and one practitioner was attacked. After four truth clarification sites were damaged on April 2, the incidents were reported to the police. On April 3, vandals attacked other sites at Mong Kok and Wang Tai Sin, tearing up information boards and signs. A female practitioner was assaulted and shoved to the ground.

A local resident provided this video: On April 3, vandals attacked Falun Gong Information Booths at Mong Kok and Wang Tai Sin. A female practitioner was assaulted and shoved to the ground.

On April 3, according to footage provided by local residents on the scene, a man wearing a black shirt, black pants, and a black cap ripped up Falun Gong banners and boards with a knife at the stand in Wang Tai Sin district. After tearing up a hanging board, he continued to vandalize the site. Another man wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and a black hat and carrying a yellow plastic bag, sprayed the signs and boards with black paint. Ignoring passersby and Falun Gong practitioners who were recording them, the perpetrators carried out the crime in broad daylight.

A local resident provided this video: On April 3, thugs once again attacked Falun Gong Information Booths at Wang Tai Sin and Soy Street.

Later that day, the same thugs damaged the stand at Soy Street in Mong Kok district as local residents recorded the attack. The black-shirted man fled after pushing a female Falun Gong practitioner towards the display boards and flags, which crashed to the ground at the same time. The white-shirted man damaged boards and signs before fleeing.

The day before, on April 2, four sites in Mong Kok, Hung Hom, and Wan Chai districts were vandalized. Many display boards and banners were sabotaged. The police came to the scene to record the damage.

According to Ms. Zhou, a Falun Gong practitioner, economic losses amounting to around 20,000 HKD (2,572.01 USD) from the wrecked site on Argyle Street, Mong Kok, occurred on April 2. She called on people not to assist the CCP in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and wanted to remind people that those who do bad deeds will be punished.

This is not the first time that people have caused damage instigated by the CCP. For example, numerous Red Guard leaders were later punished after attacking innocent people during the Cultural Revolution. Although initially serving as political tools at the time in the name of “loving” the Party and country, many became victims themselves as the Party found scapegoats to ease the public anger. There were five top Red Guard leaders who were sentenced to jail with terms ranging from 9 to 17 years, while a large number were sent to the rural countryside for reform-through labor.

Such a pattern has also extended to other political movements of the CCP beyond the Cultural Revolution. We hope more people, especially those who have not experienced the CCP’s brutality personally, do not act against their conscience for short-term incentives. That will lead us to a bright future instead of sinking with the CCP.
