(Minghui.org) People always want to find shortcuts or tricks so that they can “speed up” and succeed. But in the end they usually put in twice the effort with half the results. It’s true that some methods can achieve quick results, but for the results to be lasting and powerful, gradual but steady improvement is best. There are no shortcuts. The end result always reflects the hard work you put in.
Whether consciously or unconsciously, some practitioners look for shortcuts, hoping to improve quickly during cultivation. If we want to regard ourselves as practitioners at all times and everywhere, shouldn’t we consistently work on it? There is no shortcut.
How to work on it? No matter what we encounter, we must remember that we are Falun Dafa practitioners—in our daily work and lives. Strictly disciplining ourselves and proactively improving ourselves bit by bit is what’s required. Constant effort yields sure success.
