(Minghui.org) A 45-year-old woman experiencing a serious medical condition after being force-fed is scheduled to appear in court on April 23, 2021, for her faith in Falun Gong.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual and meditation discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Lin Lehong of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, was arrested on October 28, 2020, and detained at the Longgang Detention Center.
She held a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force-fed. Since then, she began to vomit everything she ate and could only keep some liquid food down. Her blood pressure rose to a dangerously high level, at 160/180 mmHg. She also suffers from chest pain and numbness in her left hand. She is now receiving supplemental oxygen every week.
As Ms. Lin was perfectly healthy before she was arrested, she suspected that the guards drugged her during the force-feeding.
She is now applying for a nasal cannula for supplemental oxygen when she is due to appear in the Longgang Court on April 23.
