Importance of Moral Principles
A middle-aged couple read all the available information about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa and watched practitioners do the exercises. Practitioner Andreas told them about the physical and spiritual benefits of Falun Dafa and discussed the 21-year-long persecution in China. The husband signed a petition that called to end the CCP's forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners.
He was very interested in learning the practice, and asked where the nearest group practice site was. He wanted to know how the meditation could improve one's mind and body. He was surprised about the persecution and that something so horrible as forced organ harvesting could occur in the modern world. Andreas explained the importance of moral values and said that many people believe that worldwide disasters are associated with society's moral degeneration. The man said he believed in traditional civilization and knows that such incidents are not accidental.
Andreas explained that he grew up in East Germany and knew how miserable life was under communism. The man said he also had many friends from East Germany who told him about similar experiences.
He said that people need to reject the CCP for a better future. He commended practitioners as a mainstay of society and wished them well.

The Power of Being Good
Two young men talked with a practitioner named Zhao about the mistreatment of Falun Dafa practitioners in China and signed the petition to end the persecution. One of the young men came from Latin America and said he witnessed how the communist regime abused its power and mistreated people. He feels that the CCP is too powerful, and that it would be difficult to find a solution and change society for the better.
Zhao said she believed in the power of faith. For example, before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, few people imagined it could ever happen. “As long as we cherish virtue and follow our conscience, more people will be inspired and reject negative things. The divine is also watching us and helping us,” she said.
The young men agreed and said that lack of faith is a major issue in today's society. One of them said his conversation with Zhao moved him. “I could see the power of being good and staying away from bad things,” he said. He added that he and his friend would tell more people about the CCP's forced organ harvesting.
Ancient Culture Destroyed
When another couple passed the booth, practitioner Teng told them about the signature drive. The couple said they had lived in China. The wife said, “Our life was relatively good over there (in China), but I know some Chinese had a hard time making ends meet.” Speaking of rejecting the CCP, she said China is a big country with 1.4 billion people. She was worried that the country would become chaotic without the Party.
Teng explained that before the CCP, China had a glorious history that was thousands of years old. People believed in the divine; they were virtuous, courteous, and willing to help each other – almost the opposite of the Chinese today. She said that all these traditional values were wiped out by the CCP and replaced with class struggle, hatred, and lies.
The wife agreed with this and signed the petition. The husband hesitated, worrying that his signature might affect his visa to China and his ability to work over there. Teng recommended that he read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and he was pleased to accept a copy of the book.
