(Minghui.org) With Falun Dafa practitioners’ persistent efforts to raise awareness about the persecution of their faith over the past 22 years, more and more people in China have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations and openly show their support for Falun Dafa despite the ongoing persecution.
Below are several stories submitted by practitioners across China, sharing their encounters with people who understand the truth about Falun Dafa.
“Why Don’t You Help Me Quit the Chinese Communist Party”
One day in the middle of October 2021, I went to a local market. There were many vegetable vendors along the road. At the end of the road were piles of potatoes and mustard. The vendor, in his 60s, told me that his yellow potatoes were of good quality.
His wife came over to me and said, “Hi, do you remember me? We met several years ago and you told me the auspicious words: ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ You also helped me quit the Communist Youth League.” Then she removed her mask.
I looked at her but I couldn’t remember her. I didn’t want to be rude, so I replied, “How are you doing these days?”
She was happy, “I am good, and everything is going smoothly.”
Then her husband said, “Do you know? After you helped her quit the Youth League, she got better and better. Why don’t you help me quit the CCP? I am a Party member. I had a stroke not long ago.”
I couldn’t be happier to help. His wife repeatedly said, “Thank you!” I told them that they should thank Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, who is actually the one helping them.
About ten days later I passed by their stall again, and saw that they’d sold almost all of their vegetables while other vendors still had a lot left to sell.
They thanked me again, and I told them that Dafa had blessed them.
Elderly Man: “The CCP Is the Devil of Devils”
While talking to a man in his 80s, he said me, “I have seen how the Japanese invaded China, but it was nothing like how the Chinese Communist Party is treating the Chinese people.”
I said, “The CCP is a devil.”
He agreed, adding, “It is the devil of devils.”
Several years ago, I met a middle-aged man from north China. He told me that none of his family members joined the CCP because of his grandfather’s experience.
His grandfather was a member of the CCP’s Eighth Route Army. In the daytime, he and his comrades wore the clothes of the Eighth Route Army to help people chop wood, sweep the yard and carry water. At night, they put on the clothes of the Kuomintang to rob people. His grandfather told his family that no one from the family should join the CCP in the future.
The man also said, “Even though my son works for the government, he is not a member of the CCP and he will not join the Party.”
“I support Falun Dafa”
One day on my way back home, I stopped by a fruit vendor on the street. A man and his middle-school daughter came by on a motorcycle and handed a gift box to the vendor. When they were about to leave, I asked them, “Have you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” They turned to me and said, “Yes, we have.”
Then I asked the vendor if he knew about quitting the CCP. He replied, “Falun Dafa is good! The CCP will collapse soon. I will never follow the CCP. If there ever is a new Party formed, I’ll follow the new Party.”
At that time, another man came over. I asked him, “Have you heard about Falun Dafa?” He replied, “I support Falun Dafa! No one in the world should be against Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa teaches people to follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The CCP dares to persecute Falun Dafa. It is doomed.”
