Our Sincerity is Most Important When We Save People

(Minghui.org) Master said,

“Also, with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should all clarify the truth to them. Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. IV)

I always reminded myself of this section of Master’s Fa, especially what Master said, “leave them with your compassion and kindness.” So, whenever I clarify the truth, I’m always cheerful and happy. This helps people feel close to me.

Clarifying the Truth at a Bus Stop

Bus stops are good places for us to clarify the truth to the riders. Other practitioners and I stand in one spot and talk to different groups of people as they come and go. Because the pace is so fast, we have little time for stray thoughts. We are able to advise many people quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. I will share some of our experiences.

I offered my seat to an older gentlemen at the bus stop. I asked him, “Uncle, which bus are you taking? I can help you look it up.” He was quite happy and sat down. I continued, “I want to tell you a way to be safe during the pandemic.”

He asked, “Are you a Falun Dafa practitioner?” I sensed that a practitioner had talked to him before and asked, “Has anyone told you about quitting the CCP and its youth organizations?” The gentlemen said he did not have a good impression of Falun Dafa practitioners. I apologized and asked him to not feel offended. I pointed out that he should quit the CCP and its youth organizations for his own sake. He said, “I will think about it.” When his bus arrived, he waved his hand and said, “Thank you, I will think about quitting the Party.”

Even though this man did not quit the Party, he left a deep impression on me. I realized that we need to have sincere hearts and compassion to move people so they can experience the wonderfulness of Dafa. From then on, I paid extra attention to the way I behaved. I addressed people older than me as “uncle” or “auntie,” and addressed people who were the same age or younger than me as “big sister” or “younger sister.” This helped establish a relationship, and people were willing to listen when I clarified the truth.

When I talked to one elderly couple I offered them an amulet. The woman said, “We have one. It would be a waste if we took another one.” When she took it out of her pocket, I noticed it was worn out, and the writing had faded. I gave her a new one and she said, “Thank you. We also quit our memberships in the CCP and its youth organizations and recite ‘Falun Dafa is good’ every day. Look how healthy we are.”

I talked to one woman dressed fashionably, “You are tall and attractive.” She said that she was sixty years old. I immediately said, “You look younger indeed! You look like you’re from the city. Have you heard that millions of people have already quit the CCP and it youth organizations?”

She replied, “No, I haven’t heard about quitting the Party.” I explained how quitting the Party and its youth organizations can protect her during the pandemic. I also told her that more than 370 million people had already quit the CCP and its youth organizations.

She said, “Really? Please tell me where I can quit the Party.” I told her that I could help her and I suggested a pseudonym. I suggested that she say, “Falun Dafa is good” whenever to receive blessings and stay safe during the pandemic. By this time, her bus arrived and she waved to me as she got on the bus and called out, “I want to quit the CCP and it youth organizations.” I waved back, indicating that I would submit her name.

After witnessing sentient beings’ gratitude and appreciation, I told myself that I had no reason to slack off or relax. I needed to set a priority in clarifying the truth while household chores and other matters in life are trivial and could be done later.

Talking to People at a Market

Before I left the market one morning, I realized that the vendor had given me an extra ten yuan in change. I went back and told him about it. He said, “Today I met a good person!” I told him that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and Master taught us to be honest.

He said, “There are no honest people these days and other people would keep it.” I asked him if he had a way to stay safe during the pandemic. He laughed and said, “Little sister, the whole world is is crisis. Does anyone have a way to save us?”

I told him, “By sincerely saying Falun Dafa is good, you can be safe. This is extraordinary and only by having a sincere heart can you be protected by divine beings.” He said that he believed me. I asked, “Have you quit the CCP and its youth organizations?” He said, “Little sister, say no more. I will do whatever you tell me to do because you are a good person. I believe you. I will quit the CCP.”

Clarifying the Truth at Department Stores

We often go to department stores to clarify the truth. Just as I entered a store one day, a woman asked me, “Can you help me pick out clothing for my younger sister?” We chatted and she told me that her sister wasn’t doing well financially, so she would help her. I told her that she had a kind heart and it was nice of her to help her sister. She bought the clothing I recommended.

I asked her, “Did you know you can stay safe during the pandemic by sincerely saying Falun Dafa is good?” She nodded so I continued, “Do you know that the vow we made when we were young tied us to the CCP? If we quit the CCP and its youth organizations we can stay safe.” She nodded again. I said, “I can give you a pseudonym to quit the CCP and its youth organizations.” She immediately agreed.

I wondered why people unconditionally agreed to quit the Party. When I thought it over, I realized that Master already arranged everything and it was up to us to fulfill our missions and responsibilities. We need to help steer people away from the CCP to be saved. Master already arranged our paths so we could save people. It is not how fluently we speak, we simply need to be sincere in our wish to save sentient beings wholeheartedly. Only then can we encounter predestined people and do well in clarifying the truth.

After all these years, I’ve enlightened to the fact that cultivation itself is not hard if we do as Master says. Clarifying the truth itself isn’t complicated if we truly care about sentient beings.
