1. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan] 18 Practitioners Arrested

A group study site was reported to police by Wang Bing from Xijin Village. Officers from the Longfeng Town Police Station responded and arrested 18 practitioners on the afternoon of October 13, 2021. It is said that all the practitioners are being detained in the Longfeng Town Police Station.

2. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Case Against Ms. Zhang Chunyao Submitted to the Court

Ms. Zhang Chunyao was arrested by officers from the Zhonghe Police Station and the Yinzhou District Police Department on April 15, 2021. Her home was ransacked. Her case was submitted to the Procuratorate by the Yinzhou District Police Department in early July 2021, and was transferred to the Yinzhou District Court in early October 2021.

3. [Shanghai] Qu Fei Arrested

Qu Fei (gender unknown) from Liutuan Town of Pudong New District was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested by two officers from the Liutuan Town Police Station on the morning of October 11, 2021. Qu was placed under ten-day administrative detention and is currently being detained in the Pudong New District Detention House.

4. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Zhang Shihua Arrested and Detained

Zhang Shihua (gender unknown) was arrested at the workplace by four officers from the Luolong District Police Department at around 10 a.m. on October 15, 2021. Zhang’s home was ransacked. Two computers and two cell phones were confiscated. Zhang was taken to the Luoyang City Detention Center that evening.

5. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Homes of Ms. Zhang Yu’e and Ms. Liu Fuzhen Ransacked

Ms. Zhang Yu’e is nearly 80 years old. Officers from the Shanyang District Police Department went to her home one day in late July 2021 and ransacked it. They confiscated a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and her Falun Gong books.

Officers from the Shanyang District Police Department arrested 80-year-old Ms. Liu Fuzhen on the street around September 19, 2021 for distributing truth clarifying materials. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated.

6. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Xiulian Arrested

Ms. Li Xiulian, 70, was arrested at home in late September 2021. It was reported that she had been recorded by a surveillance camera when she was distributing truth clarifying materials. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wen Xianghua Harassed

Ms. Wen Xianghua was harassed at home by officers from the Jianqiao Street Police Station and local community staff members. She was threatened with imprisonment because she has been arrested six times.

8. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Yu Ziqun Detained

Mr. Yu Ziqun is from Renshou County. A family member received a call on September 27, 2021, stating that Mr. Yu had been released from the Qingshi Brainwashing Center in Renshou County and then taken to a detention center.

Ms. Lu Fengming was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center with Mr. Yu Ziqun at the same time. She was released on October 9, 2021.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Zhou Li and Wang Bingcheng Missing

No one has seen or heard from Zhou Li and Wang Bingcheng since October 10, 2021.

10. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Zhou Hua and Zhou Xunzhen Harassed

Local authorities sent two collaborators to the home of Zhou Hua and Zhou Xunzhen on October 16-17, 2021. The two practitioners firmly refused to cooperate with them.

11. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Lu Baolun Harassed

Ms. Lu Baolun received a call from staff member Chen from the Xinhusanjie Neighborhood Committee on October 14, 2021. Ms. Lu was pressured to sign a three statements document, which she firmly refused.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Kaiqin Arrested

Ms. Zhou Kaiqin from Qingbaijiang District was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong at a bus stop. She was arrested by officers from the Hongyang Police Station at around 10 a.m. on October 15, 2021.

13. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Yunfang Arrested

Ms. Chen Yunfang, in her 70s, was arrested at around 10 a.m. on September 29, 2021, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Yonghu Police Station (or the Xicheng Police Station) and released around 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

14. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Gong Xueliang and Wife Ms. Wang Zhongqiong Arrested

Mr. Gong Xueliang, 84, and his wife Ms. Wang Zhongqiong, 81, were arrested on the morning of October 13, 2021. They have been released.

15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Guizhen and Ms. Li Shulan Arrested

Ms. Yu Guizhen was arrested at home by officers from the Chengxi Police Station at around 9 p.m. on October 16, 2021. Her Falun Gong books and other personal belongings were confiscated. She was taken to the Chengxi Police Station.

Ms. Li Shulan was arrested at home by officers from the Liuying Road Police Station at around 8 a.m. on October 14, 2021. Her Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. She is currently detained in the Weizigou Detention Center. She started a hunger strike to protest.

16. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiao Yang Arrested

Ms. Xiao Yang’s husband received a call from the Kangbao County Police Department at around 11 p.m. on October 14, 2021, informing him that his wife had been placed under 15-day detention and was detained in the Zhangjiakou City Detention House. Their home was later ransacked. Ms. Xiao’s Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated.

17. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Baoli and Ms. Tian Ruixia Arrested

Ms. Su Baoli and Ms. Tian Ruixia were arrested by officers from the Anqui City Police Department on October 11, 2021.

18. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Taiju Detained

Ms. Jiang Taiju was placed under ten-day detention.

19. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sha Jinghua Arrested

Ms. Sha Jinghua, in her 70s, from Dalian Bay was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Nanguanling Police Station on October 10, 2021. A family member was called to the police station. The police took the family member’s cell phone but returned it later. They asked whether the family member also practiced Falun Gong. They also said their cell phone must be on all the time. They threatened, if Ms. Sha was caught again, her pension would be deducted. Ms. Sha was released at around 5 p.m.

20. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Liu Xijun Harassed

Liu Xijun (gender unknown) was harassed at home by staff members from the Longquan Community in Jingxiu District on the afternoon of October 13, 2021. Liu was pressured to sign a guarantee statement but Liu did not cooperate.

21. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Min Arrested

Ms. Zhang Min was arrested at home in Yingezhuang Village, Xindianzi Town by officers from the Xindianzi Town Police Station on October 14, 2021. Her home was ransacked. Her Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. Ms. Zhang is currently detained in the Xindianzi Town Police Station.

22. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Face Trial

Seven practitioners from Xiangfang District of Harbin City will be tried in the Yanghulu District Court in Daqing City on the morning of October 21, 2021. They are Li Lizhuang, Huo Xiaohui, Tang Zhuyin, Li Yanqing, Ding Yan, Jiao Qihua, and Zhao Lihua.
