(Minghui.org) I was detained for over two years in a detention center in Wuhan for persevering in my spiritual belief, Falun Dafa. Soon after the CCP virus (coronavirus) began spreading at the beginning of 2020 Wuhan city was placed on lockdown. The detention center also adopted the lockdown policy and all lawyers' visits, court hearings, and trials were canceled. The police and detainees were all afraid of contracting the virus.
After I was placed in a ward I thought, “I need to quickly advise people to quit their memberships in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations. Peoples' lives are in danger during this epidemic and I must clarify the truth to them.”
I decided to tell the head of the ward (an inmate the police selected) that Falun Dafa is good and why quitting the CCP organizations can help people avoid being implicated for its crimes. His name was Hu and he was arrested for running a gambling house.
“We must have a predestined relationship to meet this way,” I said. “Now this virus is turning into a global plague. Would you like to hear how many feel they've been blessed?”
He did not object, so I told him to remember “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I explained that Falun Dafa is a high-level cultivation practice. If people refuse to listen to the CCP’s lies or participate in the CCP’s brutal persecution and believe that Falun Dafa is good, divine beings will protect them.
Hu said he believed what I said and quit his membership in the Communist Young Pioneers. He said loudly, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
A few days later, Hu had a fever. The police officer on duty was scared and checked his own temperature, but he was fine. Since then, Hu treated me well.
He said Falun Dafa practitioners were different from others as they were not afraid of hardship. He also said, “I will practice Falun Dafa after I'm released.”
A detainee named Xiao had been involved in fraud. He worried that he would be sentenced to prison. I said, “Remember and say, ‘Falun Dafa is good.’ Quit your membership in the CCP organizations and you'll be blessed. Your case will have a good outcome.”
He agreed to quit his memberships in the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers. Every day he said, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He was released three days later without charges.
I advised 40 people to quit their memberships in the CCP organizations during the two years I was held in the detention center. These people did not contract the CCP virus.
Two people did not believe what I said and cursed Dafa. They later contracted the virus. To avoid transmission, police quarantined several detainees outside the detention center.
Those who listened to my truth-clarification and agreed to quit the CCP organizations returned safely. The two people who refused to listen to me did not return, then I was released. I don’t know what happened to them.
