(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa, a mind-body practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) since 1999. I joined Dafa practitioners worldwide to make international phone calls to China to inform people of what Falun Dafa is and why the CCP has been prohibiting the Chinese from cultivating in Dafa.
When making such phone calls, I’ve encountered various people – some swore at me, while others refused to believe me. Despite the difficulties in carrying out the conversations, I’ve also met people who were willing to listen and agreed to quit the CCP after understanding the facts.
Master told us,
“The truth is, in your validating the Fa today, in the process of Dafa disciples' clarifying the truth, the forms you have adopted, the different methods you've used, and all the different things you've done have all been handled very well. Don't underestimate your sending even one flyer or one booklet to China, making one phone call there, or sending one fax there or sending all sorts of information--the effect is quite significant, and its effect in frightening and eliminating the evil is huge, truly huge.” (Touring North America to Teach the Fa)
Master Gives Me Wisdom to Help a Senior CCP Member Quit the Party
A fellow practitioner asked me to help make a follow-up call to a man, who is a 40-year CCP member. That person was receptive to most of the things the practitioner told him. But being a senior CCP member, he also had strong sentiment for it and refused to quit it no matter how hard the practitioner tried.
Before I called the man a few days later, I asked Master to give me wisdom.
During my conversation with the CCP member, he listened attentively and only said okay a couple of times to let me know that he was still there. Although I only talked to him for about 10 minutes, he agreed to quit the CCP at the end.
For the remainder of the article, I would like to share my conversation with that man that convinced him to make the final decision.
I first updated him with the latest development of the coronavirus pandemic and explained to him why people have begun to call it the CCP virus, after the Chinese Communist Party.
I told him that the CCP didn’t only silence whistle blowers at the initial stage of the outbreak, but also repeatedly said that the virus was not transmittable among humans. After they couldn’t hide it anymore, they covered up the number of people infected, as well as those who’ve died from the virus.
As people have begun to resume work, it has never been more important for them to know the truth and make better choices to protect themselves.
I also mentioned that the coronavirus was predicted by Liu Bowen in his prophecy written nearly 700 years ago. Liu didn’t only predict when the plague would start, but also where it started. According to Liu, both last year (2019) and this year (2020) would be a difficult time. However, he also pointed out that the way out could be found in the three characters, “truthfulness” (眞), “compassion” (善) and “forbearance” (忍), which are the core principles of Falun Dafa.
I said to the man that the CCP’s propaganda machine has been constantly spreading lies about Falun Dafa, resulting in people bearing resentment towards us and viewing us as their enemies. But the truth is, Falun Dafa is really beneficial for people, and we practitioners only want more Chinese people to understand the facts and receive blessings.
Then I shared a few stories of people benefiting from repeating the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
One example was my friend's cousin, who contracted the CCP virus. He was admitted to the ICU three times, and was put on a ventilator. Doctors were prepared to pronounce his death. After my friend urged him to repeat the phrases sincerely, however, he was cured and has now fully recovered.
Another example is my 98-year-old grandmother, who often repeats the phrases to herself. She fell a few times, but she was protected each time and not injured.
In the end, I told the CCP member that when people joined the CCP, they vowed to its bloody flag that they would dedicate their lives to the CCP. This is tantamount to dying for the CCP at any time. So withdrawing from the CCP is to abolish the oath made to the demonic force, and it is also to free one’s mind from being controlled by it from then on.
Much to my delight, the man agreed to quit the CCP and I truly felt happy for him.
