(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in eight cities or counties in five provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Cheng Sigui and Ms. Luo Dengfen Arrested
2. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Ziming and Mr. Gao Hongwei Sentenced
3. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Ruijie Arrested
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Xiuping and Ms. Zhao Chunxia Arrested
5. [Qian’an City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
6. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Fang Yue’e Arrested
7. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qiao Yongsheng and His Wife Ms. Ren Xiulan Detained
8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Hongxia Arrested
1. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Cheng Sigui and Ms. Luo Dengfen Arrested
Ms. Cheng Sigui and Ms. Luo Dengfen were arrested by officers from the Hongxing Village Police Station on March 10, 2020. They were given a ten-day detention term, which will be served outside the detention center.
2. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Ziming and Mr. Gao Hongwei Sentenced
Mr. Wang Ziming was sentenced to a seven-and-a-half-year prison term. Mr. Gao Hongwei was sentenced to a two-year-and-ten-month prison term. They appealed to the Dongying City Intermediate Court.

3. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Ruijie Arrested
Mr. Lu Ruijie was arrested on February 21, 2020, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Qingdaolu Police Station.
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Xiuping and Ms. Zhao Chunxia Arrested
Ms. Gao Xiuping and Ms. Zhao Chunxia, from Laiyuan County, were arrested on March 16, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Laiyuan Domestic Security Division.

5. [Qian’an City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Liu Dapeng, Ms. Chen Zhiying, and Mr. Liu Kun were arrested on February 15, 2020, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked, and Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, computers, printers, cell phones, and other personal belongings were confiscated.
6. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Fang Yue’e Arrested
Ms. Fang Yue’e was arrested by officers from the Yueyanglou District Domestic Security Division on March 16, 2020.
7. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qiao Yongsheng and His Wife Ms. Ren Xiulan Detained
Mr. Qiao Yongsheng and his wife Ms. Ren Xiulan, from the Bayuquan District, were arrested at home on March 7, 2020. Mr. Qiao is being held in the Bayuquan Detention Center, while Ms. Ren is being held in the Yingkou City Detention Center.
8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Hongxia Arrested
Ms. Lu Hongxia, in her 60s, was arrested on March 10, 2020, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.
