(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in four cities or counties in fourprovinces, where at least six practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Tang Jilan Sentenced to Prison; Mr. Mo Xinzhong Released on Bail
2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huo Guorong and Ms. Xu Chunfeng Arrested
3. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiurong and Another Practitioner Arrested
4. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zheng Zunxiu Displaced
1. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Tang Jilan Sentenced to Prison; Mr. Mo Xinzhong Released on Bail
Ms. Tang Jilan from Hanwangmiao Village, Shuangmiao Town, was reported to the police on July 14, 2019, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested and taken to Dezhou City Detention Center. Ms. Tang was later sentenced to a three-year prison term.
Mr. Mo Xinzhong was arrested at home by officers from Gaotang County Police Department and Jiangdian Police Station on February 9, 2020. His home was ransacked, and a computer, printer, and over 20,000 yuan in cash were confiscated. Mr. Mo was held in the police station for two days before being transferred to the police department. He was released on bail on February 12.
2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huo Guorong and Ms. Xu Chunfeng Arrested
Ms. Huo Guoring and Ms. Xu Chunfeng from the Wanghua District were arrested by officers from Wanghua Domestic Security Division on the morning of February 10, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked.
Ms. Huo and Ms. Xu were taken to Guangming Police Station.
3. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiurong and Another Practitioner Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiurong and another practitioner were arrested on February 14, 2020, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to Kaixuanlu Police Station. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zheng Zunxiu Displaced
Ms. Zheng Zunxiu, 72, was arrested by several officers from the Macheng Police Department on the afternoon of February 12, 2020. They broke into her home, and ransacked the place. Ms. Zheng was released around 9:00 p.m.. She left home that evening and became displaced. Her whereabouts are unknown.
